The Interns - Lucy Robinson

Lucy has been singing since she could talk and maybe before! She has been writing her own songs since the age of 10 and more recently has been recording tracks at a studio in Bolton with producer Glenn Phillips (a talented musician himself currently gigging with various bands). Lucy is also doing session work with Glenn for other artists. Click below for a sample of some of Lucy's latest songs.

At the age of 16, Lucy was fortunate enough to receive tuition from vocal coach Sheila Gott, who has worked with the likes of Take That and Lisa Stansfield.  It was through Sheila that she formed an ABBA duo with another student, Lareena Edwards. Together the pair performed at various venues, including a major charity event in Rochdale for Pendlebury Children's hospital.

Lucy is currently working for the BBC having recently gained a First Class Honours in Film and Media Studies at Manchester Metropolitan University. Lucy is also working on some new material with a colleague at the BBC who also produces and records.

Her hobbies are mainly sport based, including tennis, swimming and going to the gym.  Her most inspirational quote comes from a biography she once read;

“How high I aim, how much I see, how far I reach, depends on me.”
