J-Style

Well since these pictures have already made their way around the internet I though I might as well post them here.  I spent driving around and shooting this car last friday and concluded it is the best street-going hachiroku I’ve ever had the pleasure of driving.  Obviously it doesn’t come close to Miguel’s own Techno Pro Spirits tuned monster but that black-top 20valve engine under the bonnet really is perfect for a car primarily used on the road.  Plenty of pull from as low as 1,000 rpm and a very usable midrange.  Of course as with every AE86 you have to rev it to an inch of its life to get the most out of it!  Very clean car overall, must have been looked after very well.  Engine swap looks almost factory and there are loads of interesting bits in the suspension and brakes set-ups making it a very complete car indeed.  The new owner, Atsushi-san, will be very happy with it!  On to the pix…
