Kehillat Tikvah: a Jewish Community of Hope was founded in 2008. We are a congregation of individuals and families who seek to learn, explore, and sustain the teachings and practices of egalitarian Judaism, and to nurture a vibrant Jewish community here in Jackson Heights, Queens.
We celebrate the Jewish holidays, conduct rabbi-led High Holiday services, hold monthly Shabbat pot luck dinners, and other lay-led services. We have always invited everyone in the community to join us for all our events, such as our Purim celebrations, Passover Seders, and TuB’shvat seder.
