Welcome to the TurboWeb
TurboWeb takes the web "back to basics" focusing on speed speed and speed. It is
intentionally lite but with an optimisation to significantly improve speed
of navigation by storing any previously viewed pages in memory pre-rendered.
This means the back button always displays the previous page as you last saw
it and, practically instantainiously. This greatly improves the typical search
experience of referring backwards and forwards between pages.

Your history and bookmarks are stored as normal html web page files in the
directory ~/Library/Application Support/TurboWeb. When the bookmarks page
is displayed it is editable like any normal document. An (optional) snapshot
of the page as it was last seen is displayed on these pages.
Finally, once the "TurboWeb Lookup" service has been enabled you can
quickly search any selected phrase from any application
by typing command-@. |
