U.F.O.'s and Aliens

My kids still love to make aliens.

Here is a cute UFO, that is easy to make.

You will need: 2 Styrofoam plates, large pom-pom,clear plastic cup, glue and anything else you want to use to decorate. Let the kids use their imaginations.
Glue the 2 plates together to form a space ship. Create an alien and glue it to the top. Then glue the plastic cup on top of the alien.

Aliens would be a lot of fun to make. I'll need to look for some good alien books to link with the craft. Do the aliens fly? Looks like a frisbee shape, so I was just wondering?

The Crosses on Calvary

I derived this craft from a project that Cheyanne's pre school class did. I thought it was a perfect Easter craft to share. We used: an Egg carton cup, playdough (or clay), 6 craft sticks, scissors, brown and gold paint, brushes, Easter grass (or craft moss) and glue. This can be done in so many different ways, so just use what you have around the house. Cheyanne painted 4 craft sticks brown and 2 gold. The 4 brown craft sticks, I cut with scissors so they would make smaller crosses. Round off the edges a bit. Glue the sticks together making crosses. Fill the egg cup with playdough and glue on the grass. Poke the crosses into the dough. I also cut out an egg shape from construction paper and glued the egg cup on it.

Father's Day Card

If you Dad is into fishing I think this would be a great Father's Day Card for the kids to make. We used: Fish Coloring Page , tissue paper or crepe paper (cut up into sqares), glue, construction paper, wiggly eye, and a marker. Glue on pieces of the tissue paper and eye to the coloring page. Cut out the fish pattern. Glue on to folded construction paper. Write," Fishing You a Happy Father's Day !!!!" Cheyanne made one for her daddy and one for God.
