A local boy that was one of my daughter Katie's best friends, was killed in Afghanistan on March 4th. Yesterday was his funeral. I have to say that I am so proud of the way the community came together to honor this young man's life. In this time of military protestors at funerals, our community came together to show LOVE, HONOR and RESPECT for our local boy turned US Marine.
It was a beautiful gathering of respect,

and love on a personal, individual level.
School children, boy scouts, policemen and firemen all lined the streets to honor Jordan,
for he gave his country
