Essie Nail Polish in "Waltz" and "Miami Nice" (Reviw)

I did promise that i'd review everything in the Target Mini Haul, so i'm strating that off with the two Essie nail polishes.

Over all the Essie nail polishes in Waltz and Miami Nice we're preety pleasing. Miami Nice caught my eye because i love that pink. And i picked up Waltz because i needed a white polish.

Miami Nice
This bright pink polish is not for the un-bold.
It's really a bright magenta.
The little shimmer in it has a slight blue tone to it, i really like it because of that. Who wants just a falt Barbie doll pink? Not me.
you can see more of the blue sheen i'm talking about in this picture along the left edge of the bottle in the highlight area
This color goes on preety smooth. I really liked it. You get full, thick nail coverage in two coats. Maybe even one if you really like a lot of paint on your brush
It dries fairly quick, but while its drying it has no forgiveness. Don't touch it AT ALL. The first time i wore this i did have a terrible wrinkle in one nail because i toughed some thing.
Over all a lovely color that i look forward to using

Waltz
I only got this color because i needed a white for a nail look i'm working on. To bad i was to lazy to swatch it before i got it.
There's not nessesarily anything wrong with this polish, it just wasn't what i was looking for. But i do like it.
It has a more trasparent coverage to it. It's a really milky white with a hint of pink.
Think of strawberry milk that has had a lot, lot, lot of regular milk added to it.
This is one coat. Still a neat white, but to light. One coat can be used over other colors too if your looking for a frosty look.
this is with two coats, you can't see much difference in the opaqueness in the two, but in person there is definatly a difference.
I did find this polish a little difficult to get an even coat with only because it's so transparent. But if you allow the first coat to dry longer then usual, the second coat will cover all and any see-threw spots.

Price: $7.79 (each) at Target

Worth it?:Miami Nice was worth the price only because i love that color so much. I wasn't thrilled with Waltz, but that's only because it wasn't really the color i was looking for. Over all i do really like these polishes, and this brand. These were the first Essie polishes i've tried.

Will I Buy It Again?:Yes. I will be going back for more Essie. The polish it's self it really smooth. Dries in a reasonable amount of time, and i love, love, love the glazed feeling of it when it's dry.
