Continuing my effort to gather some documentation how to do things, below you will find several documentation I found on the Internet how to build or set up a Linux Internet/Web Kiosk.
I already knew about BIOS a while ago. I think it’s very great application and I am proud of it because this application is developed by our fellow, Budi of Baliwae. But, IMHO that application can not be considered as an Internet Kiosk, but rather as an additional program that provides billing system which then can be added on the top of existing Internet Kiosk. CMIIW. š
Moreover, I probably consider to write a new post about open source billing systems later. So, we’ll see what application can be found on the Net at the moment. I welcome any help or suggestion from the visitors/readers of this blog.
Hi mas Kemas, thanks for the info.
But, maybe you miss something from our country, BIOS (Billing Internet open Source), http://code.google.com/p/bios/
Thank you Mas Vavai for your information.

Update: Googling a while and I found this interesting link, http://blog.hakim.web.id/2008/01/freeware-billing-warnet-game-center.html š
Opera is a great browser to make a kiosk too. It even has kiosk mode.
Hey there; thanks very much for the link to our Kiosk How-to! I just redeployed our site as an ezPublish CMS and our URL structure has changed; if you wouldn’t mind, please update the link to our site:

That article can now be found here:

Thanks again for the link, and have a nice weekend (it’s snowing here in Vermont)!
