Koh Kradan, Trang located on a tranquil island, which is just a short boat ride from Trang on the south-eastern coast of Thailand. Koh Kradan is the most beautiful island in the Trang with an area of 600 acres. most of the island (5/6) is under the jurisdiction of Hat Chao Mai National Park.

Visitors can snorkeling, swimming on some of the most untouched coral reefs at Koh Kradan.

A variety of colourful fish inhabit the shallow water corals. Koh Kradan is to the west of Ko Muk and Ko Libong.

Travel to TRANG is convenience as other places in Thailand. Visitor can come by:

Train from Bangkok station (0-2222-7010, ext. 4311-13). Rapid and express trains depart from the Bangkok Railway Station to Trang daily at 5.05 p.m. and 6.20 p.m. respectively arrive Trang at 8:35 a.m., taking 15 hours for the 870-kilometre journey. More information can be obtained from Bangkok Railway Station at Tel. 1690 The ticket price around 900 Baht for Air-Condition.

By plane: Nok Air offers one flight a day from Bangkok to Trang. http://www.nokair.com An additional early and lately flight is added on Friday and Sunday. For reservations call 1318. The air fare for round trip is around 5,800 Baht depend on tax charge.

By Orient Thai Airway: 12Go air fare around 4,000 Baht for round trip.

By bus: The Transport Company provides regular and air-conditioned buses daily from from the Southern Bus Terminal (0-2434-5558, 435-1199-200) on the Pin Klao - Nakhon Chaisi Road. or the Transport Company in Trang at tel. 075-21 8718.

It takes 12 hours for the trip.

Air-conditioned buses: varying in 3 types, depart from the Southern Bus Terminal in Bangkok to Trang every day at the following times:
VIP 24 Seats Bus: 7 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. The price ticket is around 1,100+ Baht.
Standard 1 Bus: 7 a.m., 7 p.m., 7.50 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Standard 2 Bus: 5 p.m.

Travel to Koh Kradan definitely by boat (Longtail Boat)

From Trang city : By share minivan (200 Baht per person) or private minivan (900 Baht per trip) to Kuan Tung Ku Pier then get a long-tail boat to the resort with cost 1,000 Baht per trip for longtail boat reservation please call 088-0113200. It might be best to simply book a transfer to save yourself a headache (and a lot of money).


From Krabi (Koh Lanta): By daily ferry or Speed Boat such as Pectpailin or Tiger Line that Departure daily from Saladan Pier in Ko Lanta and park infront of Koh Kradan around 1 p.m.


From Hadyai: By minivan or taxi that take approx. 2 hours from Hatyai to Trang city then 50 minute from Trang city to Kuan Tung Ku Pier and get a long-tail boat to Koh Kradan as mention above.

จังหวัดตรังอยู่ห่างจากกรุงเทพฯ ประมาณ 864 กิโลเมตร การเดินทางโดยรถยนต์ทำได้ 2 ทาง คือ 1. ใช้เส้นทางจากกรุงเทพฯ-สุราษฎร์ธานี ระยะทางประมาณ 653 กิโลเมตรและตรงมาตามทางหลวง หมายเลข 41 สู่อำเภอทุ่งสง ระยะทาง 133 กิโลเมตร แล้วแยกเข้าทางหลวงหมายเลข 403 สู่ห้วยยอด ระยะทางประมาณ 50 กิโลเมตร เลี้ยวซ้ายเข้าทางหลวงหมายเลข 4 อีก 28 กิโลเมตร ถึงตรัง รวมเป็นระยะทาง 864 กิโลเมตร 2. ใช้เส้นทางจากกรุงเทพฯ มาตามทางหลวงหมายเลข 35 (ธนบุรี-ปากท่อ) ระยะทาง 90 กิโลเมตร และแยกเข้าทางหลวงหมายเลข 4 (เพชรเกษม) จนถึงชุมพร แยกเข้า ระนอง พังงา กระบี่ ตรัง รวมระยะทาง 1,020 กิโลเมตร

ทางรถไฟ

สำหรับการเดินทางโดยรถไฟ มีรถด่วนและรถเร็วออกจากสถานีกรุงเทพฯ ถึงสถานีตรังทุกวัน วันละ 2 เที่ยว โดยออกจากกรุงเทพฯ เวลา 17.05 น. และ 18.30 น.ถึงตรังเวลา 08.00 น. และ 10.15 น.

ทางรถประจำทางปรับอากาศ

ทางรถโดยสารประจำทาง จากสถานีขนส่งสายใต้ ถนนบรมราชชนนี (ถนนปิ่นเกล้า-นครชัยศรี) มีรถโดยสารประจำทางทั้ง ธรรมดา และปรับอากาศจากกรุงเทพฯ ไปจังหวัดตรังทุกวัน รายละเอียดสอบถามได้ที่ โทร. 02-4351199 (สำหรับรถปรับอากาศ) และ โทร. 02-4345558(สำหรับรถโดยสารธรรมดา)

ทางเครื่องบิน โดยสายการบิน นกแอร์และ โอเรียนไทยแอร์เวย์ (12 GO) มีเที่ยวบินจากกรุงเทพฯ ไปยังจังหวัดตรังทุกวัน

Underwater Wedding แต่งงานใต้น้ำ อีกซักครั้ง

The Trang Chamber of Commerce in association with the Trang Province, Trang Municipality Tourism Authority of Thailand, Thai Airways International as well as other participating local authorities and private sector organisations - have cooperatively launched the 14th Anniversary of "Trang Underwater Wedding Ceremony 2010" event to promote tourism opportunities in the province. The event will be held during 12-14 February 2010 at Pak Meng Beach - one of the best known sand beaches with the peaceful atmosphere and the aligned Koh Meng as its background. The project is aimed to further promote the truly spectacular natural seaside and marine resources - with the warm atmosphere of love giving to each other under the concept of "Romantic Destination", as well as the beauty of a symbolic flower of the province named "Sri-Trang", whose pale violet blossoms in season are pleasantly ubiquitous everywhere .

Trang is the province endowed with charming tourism treasures combining several chests of jewels given by the nature numerous tropical rain forest valleys, distinctive and endorsing-imagination limestone stalactites and stalagmites, and spectacular waterfalls with purely natural water rushed from limestone caves. Being located along the coast of the Andaman Sea, Trang is an origin of an amazingly well-endowed coral reef, where is the habitat of aquatic plants and marine creatures. During the Trang Underwater Wedding event, when no disturbing monsoon emerges, the province's splendidly scenic resources simultaneously show their natural beauty, especially the sweet blossoms of 'Sri-Trang' flowers, to warmly welcome tourists worldwide.

Kradan Island เกาะกระดาน เคยมากันรึยัง

เกาะกระดานถือเป็นเกาะที่สวยที่สุดในท้องทะเลตรัง เนื้อที่ประมาณ 600ไร่อยู่ในความรับผิดชอบของ อุทยานแห่งชาติหาดเจ้าไหม เกาะกระดานยังเคยเป็นสถานที่ที่ใช้จัดงานแต่งงานใต้น้ำ ในวันวาเลนไทม์ อีกด้วย

รอบเกาะมีชายหาดอยู่ 4 แห่งเกาะกระดานจึงเป็นเกาะที่สวยที่สุดของทะเลตรังที่มีเกาะอื่นรายรอบเป็นบริวารชายหาดเป็นทรายขาวละเอียดน้าใสจนมองเห็นริ้วทรายใต้พื้นน้ำสุดชายหาดด้านเหนือมีแนวปะการังทอดยาวออกไปในทะเลบริเวณชายฝั่งเป็นแนวปะการังน้ำตื้นจึงทำให้เกาะกระดานเป็นแหล่งดำน้ำดูปะการังน้ำตื้นอีกแห่งหนึ่งในทะเลตรังการเดินทางมาเกาะกระดานสามารถขึ้นเรือมาจากท่าเรือควนตุ้งกูใช้เวลาเดินทางประมาณ 1 ชั่วโมง

ชายหาดบนเกาะกระดานมีพื้นที่ประมาณ 1.6 ตร.กม. จัดเป็นแหล่งดำน้ำตื้นมีชื่อเสียงที่สุดของอุทยานฯ แนวปะการังเหล่านี้พบเกือบรอบเกาะ มีปะการังหลากหลาย แต่ที่น่าสังเกตคือยามน้ำลง ปะการังโต๊ะที่อยู่ในเขต Reef Flat ไปจนถึง Reef Edge มักโผล่พ้นน้ำ อาจเดินไปชมได้ แต่ควรระมัดระวัง อย่าเหยียบปะการังเด็ดขาด รวมถึงไม่จับสัตว์ทะเลขึ้นมาเล่น หากพลิกก้อนหินเพื่อดูสัตว์ ต้องวางอย่างเดิมทุกครั้ง อย่าพลิกให้ด้านล่างขึ้นมาโดนแสงแดด สัตว์เกาะติดขนาดเล็กจะตาย

บนเกาะกระดานมีกิจกรรมให้พักผ่อนสนุกสนานมากมาย ตามสไตล์ของแต่ละคน ไม่ว่าจะเดินเล่นบนชายหาดด้านหน้าเกาะชึ่งมีวิว ทิวทัศน์ที่สวยที่สุดในหมู่เกาะทะเลตรังเลยก็ว่าได้ หรือจะหาหนังสือคู่ใจซักเล่ม นอนอ่านหน้าหาดที่สงบเงียบ นอนอาบแดดให้ตัวดำ เดินดูพระอาทิตย์ตกที่หลังเกาะ ซึ่งก็มีวิวทิวทัศน์ที่แปลกตาและสวยไม่แพ้ด้านหน้าเกาะเลยที่เดียว
