Back in August, I predicted that Stacey Solomon would become the next Susan Boyle—meaning that Stacey would come in second on X-Factor like Boyle came in second on Britain’s Got Talent.
I was close. Stacey came in third. To read more about that, click here. To find out who actually won the show, click here.
Of course, I was sad to see Stacey leave, but really for Stacey, it’s just the beginning. Yes, I’m going to say it again, mark my words, when the dust has settled, when it’s all said and done, Stacey will emerge as the true winner of this show. She’ll get a record deal and will become a big star—and that includes being a hit here in the states.
Probably at this point, I no longer need to keep this a secret. After I wrote about how Stacey has ties here in Ohio, I heard from Stacey’s father David.
Hi Larry,
I am Stacey’s Father and thank you for your comments. I’m sure she will be totally gob smacked by everyone who is supporting her. She loved America and said how everyone welcomed her with open arms.
Since that e-mail, David and I have stayed in contact. After Stacey got into the final, I got another e-mail from him.
OMG can you Adam and Eve it ! { Believe it}?
She has done me so proud. Wow. Amazing. Can’t wait for the Final—bring it on. I have so much faith in her. She has got better each week and done as they have asked for…
Thanks for your support
David
He’s a proud father and I’ll still continue to support his daughter Stacey.
Just for the hell of it, here’s a video clip of Stacey returning to her high school after making the X-Factor final. I love this, because the X-Factor copyright laws can’t shut this video down.
Isn’t she just simply great?
Yes, it’s the end of our weekly “Stacey updates,” but I’ll continue to follow her and give you periodic updates on her career. I want her to make it big time—not only for her, but for her young son.
But I’ll never go through this again—will never watch another “talent show.” I don’t see how these young people do it, how they can stand all that pressure.
Regardless, Stacey, you did good. I want amazing things to happen in your young life.

i think its more than cute how you took an interest in this girl from the u.k. you kind of come across as a grump sometimes (u know that) but you put that aside for stacey.
the whole thing was adorable 🙂
No more Stacey updates? Life as we know it has now ended.
Surprise! No, no surprise at all. It was predicted that this Joe guy would win it. Frankly, he’ll be like Leon who won a few years back and went no where. Joe’s a good singer but there’s nothing special about him.
Not the case with Stacey. Who knows why she didn’t win, but she’s got the whole package. She looks good, sings great and that personality of hers is catching.
No doubt money bags, Simon, has figured this out already. We’re going to be hearing from Stacey for a long time to come.
The Stacy posts were tiring. They had nothing to do with what’s going on over here and just not very interesting.
You sucked me into this, Larry! I’m glad you did. I really came to like Stacey. Keep us posted on what happens next.
I would never watch any television show that Simon Cowell is associated with. The guy’s a jerk.
I loved the video. It brings it all home, brings it back to earth.
She had her 15 minutes of fame. Let’s move on.
IcE, you are quickly turning into the asshole here.
I enjoyed all the Stacey Solomon posts, especially this one showing her back at her high school.
I agree, this is only the beginning. I would love to see Stacey on Letterman.
Stacey,
Larry is right. You have a great future ahead of you and you’ll make a lot of money.
It’s very important to invest that money wisely. I’m more than happy to help. I’ve been helping people here in Cincinnati with their money for years.
At your convenience, please contact me and I can give you my banking information after which you can transfer all of your money to me so I can start investing it for you.
Sincerely,
Roger
Stacey,
Investing your X Factor money with Roger would instantly turn it into FEAR Factor. Stay away.
Oh my god, Stacey, stay away from Roger Ach.
Does anyone have any idea what this worm is up to lately?
As much as i love Stacey, last years series was much better! Search Diana vickers – man in the mirror on youtube – fantastic! search Laura white – for the love of it all!
