Rev Jesse Jackson Taped Talking CRAP About Obama

The Reverend Jesse Jackson was trash talking Senator Obama and the conversation was taped on an ‘open mic’ in the room.  The comments are said to be crude and hurtful.

Allegedly, the Reverend has called and apologized to Senator Obama.

Faux News says they have the tape and will play it in its entirety tonight on little O’Reilly’s show.

I hate to encourage watching trash on TV but hey, if you want to hear it straight from the ‘horse’s BIG mouth’

My question, what the hell is wrong with Reverends and their BIG mouths?  Why do they talk so damn much?  Shouldn't they be home praying or something?  Another Reverend bites the dust!  No dinner invitations to the White House for Jackson.  He shouldn't been 'talking with the enemy' in the first place!

Jackson Statement:

For any harm or hurt that this hot mic private conversation may have caused, I apologize. My support for Senator Obama’s campaign is wide, deep and unequivocal. I cherish this redemptive and historical moment.

My appeal was for the moral content of his message to not only deal with the personal and moral responsibility of black males, but to deal with the collective moral responsibility of government and the public policy which would be a corrective action for the lack of good choices that often led to their irresponsibility.

That was the context of my private conversation and it does not reflect any disparagement on my part for the historic event in which we are involved or my pride in Senator Barack Obama, who is leading it, whom I have supported by crisscrossing this nation in every level of media and audience from the beginning in absolute terms.

  1. Poor Rev. Jackson, you know how much he hates being in the limelight.

  2. I can just hear the conversation in the Fox “News” think tank leading up to this interview with Jackson:

“Hey, I’ve got a killer idea! Let’s bait Jesse Jackson into an interview. We’ll ask him a bunch of loaded questions about the black community’s reaction to some of Obama’s comments on morality. We’ll lead Jackson *exactly* where we want him to go. Then, at the end of the interview, we’ll let him think his mic is off. *That’s* when we’ll get what we *really* want! Jackson will get blamed and he’ll have to apologize. In the meantime, we’ll look clean as a whistle and get to milk the story for all it’s worth!”

  4. Brian — I don’t think this is a ‘hate’ issue. I think it’s ‘old school’ versus ‘new school’. It’s generational politics. The leaders from the Civil Rights era are realizing that they are losing some ‘power’. The ‘old school’ sees the changing of the guards coming and they are desirous of Obama’s position.
I think some of the ‘old school’ activists feel that Obama is reaping the benefits of their hard work and therefore Obama should support ALL their interests. I think Obama is on the right track. If you fix America from the bottom up ALL Americans will benefit – black, white, brown yellow and everything in between.

  5. Patrick – I hear your sarcasm but you know what? That’s what Jackson gets for ‘talking with the enemy’.

  6. Denise, Jesse Jackson has been in politics for too long to make this STUPID mistake.

Whenever you are in a ‘news’ studio you KNOW that mics are in use. Even if it wasn’t a set-up by Fox, it was DUMB, DUMB, DUMB to say something potentially wounding to Obama. Even if the mic was off, whomever Jackson was talking to could have used what he said as a ‘quote’ to a reporter. Some of these people just talk too bloody much! DUMB, DUMB, DUMB!

I don’t think this will hurt Obama, but Jackson won’t receive invitations to the White House.

  7. “to deal with the collective moral responsibility of government”
Anytime a country does something for the “collective” good, it benefits the religious right. I would have more respect for obama if he would just stop talking religious solidarity period. We don’t need it in our government, and we sure as hell don’t need “collective” morality.

  8. For some reason FOX lied about playing the whole tape. Just a few sentences were played. Bill O’Reilly said something like they didn’t play the whole thing, because the other statements were worse than what was played. So, we are left to wonder. Maybe the statements were deemed so bad, because Jackson was finally telling the truth about what a fraud Obama is. O’Reilly does seem to be playing a bit of a suck-up to Obama lately.

  9. ALOHA LITTLE KAHONIES
We should all chip in to buy Jesse a small pair of clippers … after which, he’d have a couple of little items to raffle off in the next Obama fund raiser.

  11. I really wish that the focus of Jesse’s big mouth would turn to more important causes. He uttered the words ‘cut his nuts off’ and managed to hurt a web site set up to help abused woman. The web site took on the name cut his nuts off so that if angry woman ever thought to google them, they would end up at a site full of information and resources to help them move on. It took Jesse one careless moment to spout the words and now he has oppressed.

  12. leave jesse jackson alone, the only reason why the media has made rev jackson look like the bad guy is because he is anti – zionist, sadly people do not search for the truth

  13. I’d like to ask Jackson, since he knew MLK, if he was a closet hater too. Was he as two faced as Jackson is? Criss-crossing the country showing his “wide, deep and unequivocal support” for the Obama message, but all the while privately wanting his privates? Is that how Dr. King was playing it Jesse? Preaching one thing, but really feeling just the opposite? Come’on old school tell it like it was back in the day … or maybe you’re just a thug who’s made a living gravy-training off a great man all your patheic life, and you’ve got your thug offspring (is this one a legitimate one, I lose track) doing it too. Yeah, JJ I feel your pride.

  14. Jessie Jackson, needs to take the reference of Rev from his name. Because REAL Christians are taught to forgive, and every time there is a cause, he gets on the band wagon to give his stupid opinion, like that of Al Sharpton. Forgetting the mess he has caused his family by having a side whore and starting a new family with another women while married and having another family. Just shut up and allow the Lord to direct His world. You are not equipped to share on anything, look in your own closet. You border line on being about the most ignorant man in the world. Be still/quiet and know that the Lord will handle his own. NO body talking about what You said about Obama, when you thought the mics were off. Allow Limbaugh to buy the team, keep the guys working and work the american dream. You are such an embarrasement.
