Persona 3 Portable – Release Date, Trailers, and Screenshots
On sale November 1st in Japan, Persona 3 Portable is a remake of the PS2 game Persona 3 for the PSP.
From what I can tell (this may be wrong) you will be able to be start the game as a male or female. This is a complete guess from the trailer, but it also looks like dependent on which you pick, male or female, your starting Persona has a different appearance. Regardless, hopefully Atlus brings this to the US soon. I am just really curious if there are any major overhaul’s in the game compared to the original. I’m not sure whether this is worth an import or not, but if it was easy/possible to obtain a Japanese version off the PSN when it is released, I may have to look into that. I’m glad the PSP is getting treated to some good games, the system deserves a little love.

Yeah it does look like you get to pick gender, if that’s true theres definitely gonna be a lot of new content – maybe not in gameplay but definitely in interactions with others and seeing parts of the story you didn’t before. I don’t have a psp though ;_;
I would recommend getting one, there is a bunch of real fun games worth your time and money. With the PSPgo coming out, that might even be a possibility too. I still have the original fat PSP. >_>
I didn’t get that far in the PS2 version, but this PSP version sounds interesting if you get to pick gender.
Maybe I’ll try playing as female for new content.

Well… even if I completed the Guy’s story (I named him Speed Stick -_- need to focus on name next time XD) I will do it again and then I’ll do the girl’s story cuz this game is worth takin the time to do both of ’em… seriously this game is the best game I ever played 😛 well you should realy get a psp for this game and if you think its not worth it, theres lots of game on psp 😛

I wonder if it picks up from where P3 for ps2 left off? If it is…holy crap. P3’s MC shouldnt just be stuck where is for all eternity, this my selfish side speaking xD
