Americans for Prosperity’s Dick Morris Attacks Arkansas Elected Officials with Sexist Rant

While visiting Arkansas yesterday as a right-wing hatchet man for a shady, DC-based organization, Americans for Prosperity frontman Dick Morris resorted to demeaning and sexist attacks against United States Senator Blanche Lincoln and State Senator Joyce Elliott, calling them “girls who just can’t say no.” Morris was the keynote speaker for an event that promoted the candidacies of John Boozman and Tim Griffin.

“While Dick Morris may believe that chauvinistic innuendo and shameless name calling are the best ways to win elections for Republicans, here in Arkansas we know the truth about Senators Lincoln and Elliott–they are accomplished public servants who have spent their lives fighting for working Arkansans, creating economic opportunity and improving schools for our children,” said Chairman Todd Turner. “Elections should be about issues, not name calling. We call on John Boozman and Tim Griffin to renounce these disgusting, divisive attacks.”
