Schedule a Make-Up Class

Unlimited make-up classes per registered child are allowed (but not guaranteed) on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning week two of each session (Winter: Jan 13th / Spring:  March 30th) while membership is active. Make-up's may be scheduled at all locations with the exception of the Children's Museum.  Make-up classes may not be carried forward or transferred to siblings.

For your child's safety, class size is limited!

To avoid over-filling the classes, families need to schedule a make-up online before attending; if the class you wish to attend does not appear in the scheduler, the make-up spaces have been taken.  If you will be bringing two children, schedule a make-up for each child as all children over 9 months of age need to be scheduled individually.

Need to miss or cancel your make-up?  Return to the Make-up Scheduler, choose "cancel" (to open that spot for another family for future use).   Use the following link to schedule your make-up class:

Sick Child Policy

If your child is sick, please keep them home and schedule a make-up class. As per the DHS regulations, keep your child home if your child:

  • temperature of 100 or more; please be fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medication (such as Tylenol or aspirin)
  • conjunctivitis (pink eye)
  • impetigo or other contagious skin rashes
  • diarrhea
  • vomiting
  • severe cold with fever, sneezing and nose drainage
  • any contagious disease
  • seems really sick without obvious symptoms.

If a child comes to class with visible symptoms of illness, we will kindly request that you take your child home to let them recover.  If your child suffers from non-contagious, sick-looking symptoms such as allergies, please bring a doctor's note to share with the teacher.  It is very important for families to feel safe in class.  Thank you for helping us keep our classes safe and fun for everyone!

Visitors

Adults & Older Children: We welcome grandparents, visiting relatives, and older siblings (age 8 and above) to join in making music with us. It is wonderful to have extra singing role models! Please let your visitors know ahead of time that the class is participation oriented. Older children are expected to participate in music-making.

Children (under age 8): For your child's safety, our class sizes are limited. Please do not bring extra children to class unless previously arranged. Visiting spots are available at the Make-up Scheduler on a first-come, first-served basis.

Sibling visits:  When space is available, siblings are welcome to visit class one time at no charge. Two subsequent scheduled sibling visits are permitted at a rate of $15 per child. >Please reserve a spot for the visiting sibling using the Make-Up Scheduler. Select the class you would like to attend, fill out the form, and write “Sibling visit” in the last field and specify whether it is the first, second or third visit. Payment for the second and third visits will be collected by the teacher. We accept cash (exact change) or check (made out to “Music Together in Phoenix”).

Out-of-town families: Please schedule out of town visits using our Drop-In Scheduler

Transferring Classes / Withdrawals

Withdrawals:
To discontinue classes after the two-month minimum, please contact our office by email, Hello@MusicTogetherInPhx.com by the 15th of the month to withdraw from classes and not be charged in the upcoming month.  Music learning happens over an extended period of time; therefore, we recommend not pausing memberships when possible.  There is a $25 fee for re-enrollment within the academy year (September through May).

Transferring Classes:
We are happy to transfer your family into a different class depending on availability and class size.  There are many educational benefits for children to have the continuity of musical community in their classes; we often see a child's comfort and trust level grow as they experience a similar group of familiar/safe faces each week. We do, however, understand that situations arise, and you may need to request a transfer.
