many sae about the bad taste and mixability of it. i was turned-off by those reviews but inevitably turn to try it cos of its' reputation in performance wise. when i bought and open it, was sad to see clumps but luckily those were easily broken down with a few knocks of the spoon. im not sure what flavor others bought but the orange work out great for me, lucky i try it....
i have to agree, its hard to drink cause the taste is 'aquired' but i mix with a lot of water, one serving+water(nutrition shaker bottle to the brim) if u mix with cold water, it tastes a bit like tango. just dilute with a lot of water, it taste much better. now i drink it in sips watching tv. lol.
after that, not that bad already. so far i thought the orange flavour not bad, i remembered the watermelon one.. erm, buy orange better. mayb i'll try the lemon lime next.
seen results though. but true, i usually gym for 3 hrs inclusive cardio, halfway through a bit tired already but if it lasts me 3 hrs, definately good enough.
mine have clumps too. before mixing i mean. all the time ive been buying this, theres always clumps. but if u dont mix with enough water, the clumps will have a harder time breakin down, now i seldom have clumps after mixing cause i use more than enough water. use the shaker bottle though.
so btm line use enough water, taste better, less clumpy.

firstly, just bought the horse power today, was really pumped up to get it due to the reviews about the long lasting pumps and all.
However, just after opening, found out that the inside of the product was purely lumps. i mean like they looked like pebbles inside. i called the website up and they told me to try to break the "pebbles" as best i could with a spoon. Yet no matter how hard i tried, it wouldn't break as it was stuck together like a paste. this would make it impossible to gauge the serving size to try to take it.
you really should not make the mistake of getting this product. it would just waste your money and make it a hassle for you to change it to another product or worse still, to another horse power which may end up having the exact same result as the clumps in the previous horse power.
Really disappointed in the product as was under the assumption that all of nutritionpark's products were ready for consumption. guess my assumptions were mistaken.
Hopefully i would be able to change to another product or be able to get a proper horse power that i can use for training.
i bought the fruit punch one and the taste is...well lets just say you wouldnt want it as a drink for relaxation (though thats not why we're taking it so its alright) it tastes better when mixed with cold water. Within 20mins of consuming it, you do feel a weird tingling sensation like a slight headache and you really feel the pump and increased endurance after which i agree with the other reviewers that you feel totally exhausted but i still feel its a fantastic product in helping me increase my endurance and gain that nice vascularity. I bought the orange one and it taste suffocating after repeat usuage
My horse power turned dark probably due to the humidity here and it clump into pieces making it difficult to dissolve in water. Thus the effect diminish as its not dissolve into water to be absorb. But my protein shake still stays dry. o.O
The effect was good as you feel the energy within 30 mins and strength .. the weights do feel lighter and volume of muscle is bigger. But within 1.3 hours you are back to square one and u almost feel tired. Rem to drink plenty of water after that. contains creatine.
Good for people who do not have the time to have a proper pre-gym meal 45mins before. still consider to buy my 2nd horse power watermelon flavour while some said taste good and some taste bad. Any recommendation of similar energy, endurance boost products other than horsepower?
Tried fruit punch. Quite bitter and taste like orange skin. The tingling sensative starts about 20mins after consuming it. Increased strength and endurance by abit but the effect not so long lasting. First 20mins is great and will start to deteriorate after that.

Ok i have decided to give this product a try after so much positive remarks and comments i heard. Felt the tingling sensation for the first two servings. But there after the effect is gone.
Effect for this product is only so-so. Although i would say the pump i felt is longer even after my session and the recovery is good so far, the strength output and endurance is nothing to boast about, quite a disappointment for this part...
But to be fair i will give another review again after subsequence takings... ;)
I bought this on behalf of my friend after I passed him the sample sachet of horse power this site mailed me, and he wanted to buy it. The very first time he took it, his arms swelled so large they filled up his sleeves fully!! That happned about 50 mins after consumption. On subsequent times when he took it, he complained of an "unbearable" tingling feeling on his skin that made him have a strong urge to exercise. But he also reported that his endurance, strength and recovery went up by a lot. He now jokes that he can run from Tampines to Jurong without breaking sweat because he has 1horsepower in him after taking 1 dose.
Its true about the whole tingling effect and it does feel uncomforatble at first and the feeling will go away as u train. In fact you really feel like you want to train. This product shows the best results so far, im almost finishing my first bottle and ive seen great growth in muscles, somehow each training seesion you feel that you can go heavier and heavier. If you want instant and great results, go for this, you will think that you are on steriods or something.

I've been using preworkout supps for a while.... They are all pretty good, but this one really amazed me... went to the gym with just one scoop, and i had ridiculous strength... taste is so-so, nothing to brag about... but the effects of this supplement are amazing... pumps and strength are what u would expect from this one... 5 for sure

Usally when i'm on my 5th set, i felt like there's migrain on my head but when using HP, i totally didn't feel it. it makes me want to go on and on till my muscle doesn't allow me to. great product.
On the side effects, it makes your heart pump faster than usual. on the 1st intake, u might find it hard to sleep. But that only happened to me on the very 1st intake. subsequently, your body will get use to it. Also, your Skin will feel slightly tighter than usual. but that tickling feeling only last not more than 1 hr. Maybe, that's why it makes me want to work out even more, with that Tickling feel.
On the whole, if u are looking for a product to improve your strength and endurance, this is definately a MUST for your work out.

HorsePower (HP) is a quality product, and rightly so, with the smorgasboard of cutting-edge supplements. I just bought HP today, and the result can be felt from the first consumption.
Within half an hour of consumption, I could already feel my muscles getting full and warm. The muscles do feel more pumped when I was working out, though the "pumped-up" look was not quite evident - it was no different than previous workouts.
My only gripe is the paraesthesia or tingling effect at my face, hands and feet. It was quite unbearable and was only attenuated with the workout. I reckon that I would feel very restless if I were just taking it on my non-workout days. I attribute it to the beta-alanine which is known to have this effect at doses beyond 1.6g. I read that some athletes enjoy this tingling, but I definitely do not. The good news is, the effect will dissipate with continued use. For this episode, the tingling lasted for slightly over an hour. (I'm not sure whether other ingredients in HP may also cause this same effect).
HP is an NO product with creatine added in. As such, it is best taken prior to working out. If you do take creatine post workout, you may wish to half the dose.
I tried HP watermelon, and the taste is acceptable. It dissolves easily with a shaker and there was no residue left in the shaker after I've downed it.
