Unrefined, sexy and admirably creative, Tiombe Lockhart is someone to be given attention! The unsigned honeyed songstress, who is known for her collaborations with Bilal, and contributions on Detroit’s Platinum Pied Pipers’ 2005 album Triple P, as well as Waajeed Presents The War LP, recently released her own five track self-mixed EP, Queen of Doom, an airy and intense album full of Lockhart experimentations. The song “Working Girl’s Suicide,” is a favorite simply because of its penned honesty: Lockhart is still a day job working woman supporting her musical habit!

Moving from Atlanta, at a young age, to Los Angeles and on to New York, Lockhart has been singing by chance since the age of seven. Skyscraping her skills at Manhattan’s New School University, she is also a songwriter and producer, who continuously expands beyond her BFA degree in vocal jazz performance. As she leads a rhythm section, Lockhart absorbs inspiration and builds upon her style doing what she does best with intensity! She is the Queen of Doom and she’s coming.
