It is with sadness that the lodge has learned of the death of W. Bro. Colin H. Basson, PPrJGW, PPrJGW (Soms).
W. Bro. Colin was initiated into the lodge on the 20th of October 1962, having studied at Hampton between 1948 and 1954. He served as Master of Old Hamptonian, his mother lodge, in 1976.
It is with much sadness that report the death of R.W.Bro. Lt. Col. Denis A.M. Phipps, MBE, PProvGM(Surrey), PProvSGW.
R.W.Bro Denis made an outstanding contribution to our lodge, masonry in general, and wider society. He will be very sadly missed.
The Worshipful Master of the Old Hamptonian Lodge No. 5730 requests the pleasure of your company at a guest dinner on Friday 30 June 2017 at 19:00 at the Oxford and Cambridge Club in London.
This marks the first guest dinner in many years and promises to be a memorable evening. It’s a chance to spend an evening in the company of old friends and rivals and to share some relentless Hampton School banter with a wider circle. Teachers, Old Boys, members of the lodge, masonic guests and other guests are all welcome.
Drinks will be served from 19:00 followed by a three course dinner with wine to be served at 20:00.
The dress code for the evening is black tie and the cost of the evening is £60.

At the October meeting, W.Bro Lawson, Worshipful Master of Old Hamptonian, leading his first ever first degree ceremony, initiated four new members. The ceremony, usually performed for one or two candidates, received special dispensation from Provincial Grand Lodge. Here are three of them.
Provincial Grand Lodge has posted an update from the Chairman of the Trustees of Staines Masonic Hall in repect of the flooding damage to the Hall.
Due to flooding at Staines Masonic Hall, the regular March meeting has been postponed to Saturday 29 March and will be held at Cole Court, Twickenham in the Norman Moore Temple. There are no changes to the time or agenda.
At the January meeting, James Lawson, an Old Hamptonian, was elected to be Worshipful Master for the year 2014-2015.
