General:

Jessica Hynes was born in Lewisham and brought up in Brighton, Jessica Stevenson joined the National Youth Theatre company as a teenager and in 1993 secured a role in Peter Greenaway's The Baby of Mn. She teamed up with life-long friend and future Spaced co-star Katy Carmichael in a double-act called The Liz Hurleys, then went on to appear on television in the nursing drama Staying Alive. But her real break came in 1995, when she met Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright whilst making the show Six Pairs Of Pants. After a variety of stage and television work, she appeared in Channel 4's Armstrong and Miller and then went on to shine in the supporting role of neighbour Cheryl in Caroline Aherne and Craig Cash's 1997 sitcom The Royle Family. A year later, she co-wrote and starred in Spaced with Pegg. Stevenson won Best Female Newcomer at the 1999 ITV Comedy Awards. A second series of Spaced was broadcast in 2001 which she followed by scooping Best Comedy Actress at the British Comedy Awards in 2002. Since then, she has appeared in Bob and Rose on television and in the feature film Born Romantic. She also completed the BBC Film Tomorrow La Scala and in 2003 was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for her performance in The Night Heron.


Television:

Television roles include such well known series as Spaced, which she co-wrote, the Royale family, and Dr. Who.


Film:

Jessica has appeared in films ranging from Shaun of the dead, to Confetti, with other work including Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix, and Bridget Jones the edge of reason.

David Mitchell (born 14 July 1974 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England) is an English comedian, actor and writer. He is best known as one half of the comedic duo Mitchell and Webb, alongside Robert Webb whom he met at Cambridge University. There they were both part of the Cambridge Footlights, of which Mitchell became President. Together the pair are most famous for starring in the Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show in which Mitchell plays Mark Corrigan. The duo have written and starred in several sketch shows including The Mitchell and Webb Situation, That Mitchell and Webb Sound and most recently That Mitchell and Webb Look. Mitchell and Webb also star in the UK version of Apple's Get a Mac advertisement campaign. Their first film Magicians, in which Mitchell plays traditional magician Harry, was released on 18 May 2007.


Television:

On his own, Mitchell has played Dr. James Vine in the BBC1 sitcom Jam & Jerusalem and Tim in the one off ShakespeaRe-Told adaptation of The Taming of the Shrew. He also is a frequent participant on British panel shows, including QI, Mock the Week and Have I Got News For You, as well as Best of the Worst and Would I Lie To You? on each of which he is a team captain, and The Unbelievable Truth which he hosts.


Film:

David is not as well known as a film actor however he does have some film parts under his belt including Confetti, and Magicians.

General:

Robert Webb, born 29 September 1972 in Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, England, is an English comedian, actor and writer, and one half of Mitchell and Webb, alongside David Mitchell. He is originally from the town of Woodhall Spa in Lincolnshire. He was educated at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School and Cambridge University, where he studied English at Robinson College and was a member of the Footlights.


Television:

Robert Webb often appears with Olivia Colman, who was in Peep Show, That Mitchell and Webb Sound and Bruiser. With David Mitchell, Robert has appeared as Jeremy Usbourne in four series of the Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show, written and starred in an episode of BBC Three's Twisted Tales (2005), the single series of Play UK's The Mitchell and Webb Situation (2001) and three series of the Radio 4 sketch show That Mitchell and Webb Sound (2003, 2005 & 2007), and put on a number of shows at the Edinburgh Fringe. Both also wrote for and appeared in the BBC sketch show Bruiser. Webb has also appeared in two series of the BBC Three sitcom The Smoking Room (2004) and the Radio 4 sketch show Concrete Cow. In 2005 he appeared in the Ben Elton-scripted BBC One sitcom Blessed as Ardal O'Hanlon's 'perfect' counterpart. Working with David Mitchell, Robert Webb has written for Armstrong and Miller, and series two of Big Train.


Film:

He and Olivia Colman also featured as a naturist couple in the movie Confetti, a 2006 film about a competition for the most original wedding. Webb has since publicly criticised the film, saying "I had a miserable time making it and I think the finished film is an underwhelming mess." Webb also appeared alongside Mitchell in their film Magicians.
