THE BLACK MAN
Has STRENGTH beyond Compare
It's In his back
Where he has carried the weight
Of freeing his people from mental and physical bondage
Where he has bleed from a thousand wounds
Praying and Fighting for freedom to come soon
His back
Where his power is beautifully seen
Making love to his Nubian Queen
No Other Woman can Truly understand his being
THE BLACK MAN
Has INTELLIGENCE unmatched
His mind
A Blessing to man kind
Brought knowledge to us and them
For them to deny "The TRUTH" in him
To later be called
Savage
Animal
Uncivilized
Black Man we hear your silent cries
However we KNOW who you are
Yet They do too
This is why it's so hard for you
Staying Strong
When it feels as if the world has done you wrong
It's easy to become the victim
To fall pray to self-destruction
Drugs
Gangs
Killing
Promiscuity
Stealing
Or just plain giving up
STAND STRONG BLACK MAN
IT IS YOUR TIME TO COME UP
GOD GAVE YOU FEET
TO RISE
GOD GAVE YOU KNOWLEDGE
TO USE AND SHARE
THE BLACK MAN IS POWER
PERSONIFIED
HE IS LOVE
BE AWARE
OF JUST WHO YOU ARE BLACK MAN
LIVE UP TO THAT POTENTIAL
YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO OUR PEOPLE
HAS BECOME ESSENTIAL
