About the Founder
| John Yost, ProCompass founder and principal, has been helping companies solve management and operations problems for more than 25 years. With a solid background in operations, engineering and quality assurance, John has an in-depth understanding of the issues companies face in achieving operational excellence, as well as the tools and methodologies available to help them reach that goal. |  |
John received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and his MBA from Santa Clara University. He is an instructor in the University of Phoenix MBA program.
John has achieved a number of accreditations. He is a Certified Quality Manager and Certified Reliability Engineer through the American Society for Quality (ASQ). He is an active member of the American Management Association (AMA) and the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is also an active affiliate of Resource Associates Corporation (RAC), the Total Quality Institute (TQI) and the Association for Quality & Productivity (AQP). He is a founding member of the Cupertino chapter of Business Network International (BNI).
