VISION 2011: Basler To Present New Line Scan Cameras With GigE And Camera Link Interfaces

BAS1108

Basler will introduce the first models of a new line scan camera family at VISION 2011 that will set new standards in terms of pricing. With this new series, Basler significantly expands its line scan camera portfolio and offers suitable models for many different markets and application areas.

Basler is starting with 2k and 4k models with a GigE or a Camera Link interface. Further models with higher resolutions will follow next year.

The new cameras reach line rates of up to 48 kHz via Gigabit Ethernet and up to 80 kHz with the Camera Link interface. Thanks to the latest CMOS technology, the cameras provide very good image quality.

Henning Tiarks, Head of Product Management, comments: "With our new line scan cameras, users will get a winning combination of a very powerful product and very attractive pricing. We are confident that these cameras will quickly gain ground in the marketplace."

We look forward to presenting these new products and our other camera innovations in booth 4B59 in hall 4.
