If you take out travel insurance with us, the following apply.

Medical Conditions and Screening

You have either contacted a medical screening line and accepted their terms, have contacted us, told us of all your medical  conditions, history and treatments (including future tests if applicable) and have been advised of the terms or have read the insurance company's policy wording and accepted their definitions of which medical conditions (if any) are covered. We accept no liability if any claim is turned down due to non disclosure of any pre-existing medical condition.

Accuracy of form

All information submitted in the application form is correct. We accept no liability should a claim be turned down due to incorrect provision of details on form.

Payment of Premiums

All premiums paid online are processed through Paypal and then paid into a Non Statutory Client Trust Account held at Lloyds Bank (from which only payments to insurance companies and our commission can be taken). All money is pooled and payments may be advanced to insurance companies to cover policies that have not been fully paid for by other clients. This is expressly permitted under FSA  CASS rules and you accept that we may do this. We have risk-transfer facilities with all our insurance companies which means that they agree that they have received the premium once payment has been made to us.

Fees

If the policy is cancelled during the initial 14-day cooling off period and no claim is made, we shall make a full refund less a £5.00 charge and all credit card fees we incur. If the policy is cancelled after the 14 days there is normally no refund - however insurers may (not will) allow a policy to be amended should, for example, the dates of the trip change. In such cases contact us and we will see what we can do.

Policy documents

You will receive a copy of the key facts document and policy document by e-mail on submission of the application form. The schedule will be sent (usually be e-mail) when we process the application. This will be during the same day if the application is made during office hours, or the next working day if made at any other time.

Advice

The policy is arranged on a non-advised basis. We have used the information you have provided to list the prices of our travel insurance policies but it is up to you to decide which one you require. If you call us we will assess your requirements and make a recommendation but you will forfeit any internet discount available for buying online.

Help

Any customer who holds a current policy with us can contact us during office hours about any insurance matter whatsoever. We will advise them to the best of our ability as to the best course of action. Should a dispute arise between the customer and the insurer then we will act on the customer's behalf unless it is apparent that a conflict of interests will arise.
