We aim to provide an efficient service to our farm clients including emergency treatments and on-farm operations as well as routine day to day procedures.
We provide our emergency services 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
We have a pricing policy which we believe provides pharmaceuticals at competitive prices, while still providing our professional services at a realistic rate.
Preventative health measures are in the forefront of our minds when dealing with disease outbreaks, in order to prevent the reoccurrence of such outbreaks and thereby save the farm money.
To this end Herd or Flock Health Planning is a significant feature offered by the practice and these plans can satisfy the requirements of Dairy and Beef Farm Assurance Schemes.
The gold standard is the British Cattle Veterinary Association (B.C.V.A.) Herd Health Plan, which we can draw up and maintain on our computer program.
We offer advice on cattle fertility, mastitis control, lameness control as well as infectious disease prevention, biosecurity, etc...
Dairy cow fertility is of special interest and we use mobile ultrasound scanners to facilitate internal examination of cows to monitor their cyclical changes and pregnancies.
Animal welfare together with saving money for farming enterprises are our main aims.
