The Los Angeles Angels baseball team did indeed set the World Record for people wearing costume masks at their game yesterday as they gave away Angels Lucha masks to all in attendance. That's a pretty cool promotion.

You can see a video on the Record being set at click here and the actual record breaking moment at this link. Thanks to Eric Denton and Barry Werner.

Absolute Intense Wrestling will be reviving the old TPI tournament concept that IWA Mid-South used to run. When IWA ran it, the tournament was known as the Ted Petty Invitational. After several years of the tournament being canceled AIW decided to revive it but re-named it the Todd Pettingill Invitational, which I thought was pretty funny. The tournament will take place on 5/20 and 5/21 in Lakewood, Ohio at St. Gregory's Byzantine Hall with the following matches set for the first round:

-Tim Donst vs. Mad Man Pondo
-Paul London vs. Shiima Xion
-Louis Lyndon vs. Flip Kendrick
-Sonjay Dutt vs. Bobby Beverly
-Facade vs.Sugar Dunkerton
-Colt Cabana vs. Marion Fontaine
-John Kermon vs.Gregory Iron
-Dave Crist vs. Ricky Shane Page
-Jonathan Gresham vs. Jake Crist
-The Duke vs. Aero!
-"MR. RBI" Izeah Bonds vs. SJK
-BJ Whitmer vs. Jimmy Jacobs

FWE in Brooklyn, NY will run their second live event this Friday at St. Finbars Church in Brooklyn, headlined by Eric Young vs. Jay Lethal and Winter vs. Jillian Hall.

Tampa Bay Online featured an article on former pro wrestler Steve Chamberland, who after losing his leg in a motorcycle accident, is now seeking to provide 50 prosthetic legs in 50 weeks to those who need them. Quite a good feat and case of someone turning their own negative into a positive for others. Thanks to Mike Informer.

Rikishi and Crowbar are booked for the 5/20 and 5/21 ECPW events in Paramus, NJ and Brooklyn, NY.
