About Edwin Kelly
Edwin Kelly is the National Sales Manager of New Business
Development for Equity Trust Company, an affiliate of Mid-Ohio
Securities which was founded in 1974. Equity Trust Company
was founded in April of 2002 and changed from a custodian
to a trust company to provide our clients with a wide array
of services, including serving as an IRA custodian, and as
a trustee for individuals, corporations, institutions, and
employee benefit, stock ownership, and retirement plans.
Edwin joined Equity Trust Company in 2005 to create and oversee
a New Business Development division. Edwin's primary role
is to work with professionals to help them gain a greater
understanding of the advantages of self directed investing
through self directed retirement plans.
To offer additional support to Equity Trust's professional
partners Edwin oversees a group of Retirement Plan Specialists
dedicated to helping people new to self directed retirement
plans make sense of the rules, regulations, the process, and
the paperwork involved with self directed retirement investing.
During the past 15 years, Edwin has worked with clients of
different backgrounds and financial situations, as well as,
consulted to large financial institutions. Edwin holds an
MBA from Franklin University. He also holds a Series 7 General
Securities License as well as Series 63 Registered Investment
Advisor, licenses that are considered to be the professional
standard in the Investment Community. Edwin served on the
Board of Directors of two non-profit organizations. He is
also an active real estate investor and holds his Real Estate
license in the state of Ohio.
