Virtual Storage Map

This applet is designed to map the amount of private storage available in a given z/OS image given the current CSA, LPA, SQA and Nucleus sizes. To calculate the amount of private storage available after the next IPL, select the amount of PSA storage reserved, enter the current size of the Nucleus, CSA and LPA regions (in Kilobytes) below 16M as well as the relative CSA size specified in your IEASYSxx PARMLIB member. You can then, for example, increase the size of LPA or modify the CSA size to simulate the effects that new maintenance being installed or a planned PARMLIB change may have on the private region size.
