As we all know that Hrithik Roshan is having lead role in the remake of Agneepath, directed by Karan Johar. But do you who is paired with Hrithik in this movie? Initially Kareena Kapoor was the choice of Karan Johar for the lead role but unfortunately she lost the chance and her place has been taken by Priyanka Chopra.
What’s the reason that made Karan to change his choice? Actually the reason was Hrithik’s wife Susanne, who was not comfortable with the two working together after they were linked to each other in the past.
“Karan was very excited to cast Hrithik and Kareena together but Susanne put her foot down, Kareena was very upset about all this but when Karan explained her whole situation she tried to console herself”, source said.
This is not the first time that Kareena has replaced by Priyanka. In Dostana when Karan tried to take Kareena before Priyanka, Abhishek reluctance made her to stay out of the movie.
Kareena was also approached by Madhur Bhandarkar for Fashion but she unfortunately let it slide by and Priyanka immediately snapped it up. She later won a National award for it.
Both the movies Dostana and Fashion established Priyanka’s image in top actress and same is expecting for Agneepath that it will make her position more stronger.
