Hi Ruth,
I would love the opportunity to e-mail you about an event that’s coming up in Chicago! Pinups for Pitbulls will be hosting a fundraiser at the Cobra Lounge on Saturday, May 15 that will promote responsible pitbull ownership in Chicago and beyond! Pinups for Pitbulls is a non-profit that works year-round to change the public perception of bully breeds and secure financial help for homeless pitbulls across the map. The national non-profit couples 1950s pinup culture with pitbull advocacy. In 2009 they raised more than $20,000, all of which was donated to pitbull-friendly rescues and individual bullies in need across the United States.
I know that you’ve done some awesome work with bully breeds and other “aggressive” breeds, and we’d love your support at this event. It’ll be a night full of fun, music, burlesque performances and bully breed education. Pinups for Pitbulls’ popular yearly calendar will be for sale on site and gifts will be raffled off to attendees.
Little Darling, Pinup for Pitbulls’ Founder, would love to chat with you about the event and her role within the organization.
I’d love to send you the press release and additional details, if the event sounds like something you might want to attend or include in your See Spot Blog blog.
Thank you!
Kelly

Hi! I’m writing from Macmillan Kids Books and was wondering if you would be interested in receiving updates of our books for review or promotion. We publish several pet and animal books a year and would love to get your input on them. Some of our upcoming titles include THE FIRST PUP: The Real Story of How Bo Got To the White House written and illustrated by Bob Staake and BEAUTIFUL YETTA: The Yiddish Chicken written by Daniel Pinkwater and illustrated by Jill Pinkwater. If interested, please let me know your preferred email and mailing address. Thanks for your interest and I hope to hear from you soon!

Hi Ruth,
I read your letter to CCPDT and I am curious about their response. Please keep me posted. Also, congratulations on your 10,000 hits. I, for one, always enjoy reading your blogs.

I will. No telling at this point. But I should have a response within the next ten days. Maybe I’ll be granted “conscientious objector” status?

What letter to the CCPDT? And why did you cross out your accreditation?
