How to trap a raccoon

 

Raccoons are cat sized nocturnal animals with bushy banded tail and black mask. Found widely in North America ( though not common in Ellesmere Port, they can be found at Chester Zoo)

Raccoons should be trapped using a baited spring snare:
Locate the snare at a natural bottleneck in the trail.

Cut a notch in trigger bar and fit into upright driven into the ground Attach snare to trigger bar and use cord to sapling to keep tension Attach baited cord to noose, trigger bar, and support stake.
