Grammy-Nominated Artist KEM Featured on the Cover of Jan/Feb Issue of DUB Magazine with the 2011 Lincoln MKX

Motown recording artist, KEM, has landed on the cover of this month’s issue of DUB Magazine. The two-time Grammy-nominated R&B singer shares the front cover with the Lincoln MKX, which is Lincoln’s new luxury vehicle. The cover story includes an overview of KEM’s recent career developments and a recap of an interview with the singer after he drove the Lincoln MKX.

KEM, who was recently nominated for two Grammy awards for his hit single, “Why Would You Stay,” also partnered with Lincoln on last month’s “Lincoln MKX Touch Me All Over” consumer test-drive event, which took place in National Harbor, Maryland. The event included an intimate performance by KEM and an opportunity for event attendees to drive and check out new features of the Lincoln MKX.

KEM released his third album, Intimacy, in August 2010, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and quickly soared to #1 on iTunes’ Top R&B Albums chart, #2 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, #6 on iTunes’ Top Albums Chart, and #8 on Billboard’s Digital Albums chart.

The first two singles from Intimacy have saturated the airwaves on urban AC radio, including the Grammy-nominated “Why Would You Stay,” and “Share My Life,” which is currently ranked in the Top 10 of the Mediabase Urban AC chart, and is destined to become a wedding anthem for generations to come.

“Why Would You Stay,” which is holding steady on Billboard’s Heatseekers Songs chart and on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. “Why Would You Stay” also was #1 on the Mediabase Urban AC chart for six (6) weeks and #1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B chart for three (3) weeks.

While he continues to maintain a firm grip on the charts, KEM is preparing to launch his headlining ‘KEM Intimacy’ tour of North America in 2011.
