Although Blu-Ray players have a way to go, it looks like exFAT is showing up. I saw a post in a forum that Panasonic Blu-Ray players are supporting exFAT. So, I did some searching, and for example, I found the Panasonic DMP-BDT300/350 Operating Instructions at: http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/DMPBDT300-MUL.PDF and this model supports the SDXC cards using exFAT. However, it does not indicate that exFAT is supported on USB devices connected to the unit. Whether that will change, or if it is available on other models, is to be seen.
