Swinger Party

{October 9, 2007}   Your First Swinger Party

Are you ready to host your fist swinger party?  Have you been to a few house parties and saw how much fun the host has?   Well below are some tips and tricks to host the most successful Swinger Party ever!

Who to Invite

If this is going to be your first swinger party, keep the guest list small and limited to couples you are comfortable with.  As you gain more experience, you may want to experiment with inviting outsiders or posting an advertisement on your favorite swingers personals page.  You should have at least 3-4 additional couples to keep things interesting.

I say couples, but whether or not you invite singles is up to you.  Single men and single women are two completely different stories.  Single men can cause a lot of drama and will make some of the couples uncomfortable.  If you are going to invite any single men, make sure they are known to the group and there aren’t any hard feelings between the "alpha males."  Single women, however, are usually welcome if they are bi and don’t mind some exhibitionism.

Another scenario that works well is to invite 2-3 couples who are curious about the lifestyle and one experienced couple to be the mentors.  Sometimes new swingers can feel intimidated by hot and heavy action, but if you get a few curious couples that want to learn, you can all find your comfort zone together.  Don’t expect a lot of full swap action at one of these parties, but a lot of heavy petting and nudity should be encouraged!

Theme or No Theme

Unless it’s Halloween, leave the themes to your future parties.  Your first party should be as relaxed as possible and worrying about getting the right clothing, costumes or props for a theme party just adds un-needed stress.

When you have a party or two under your belt, however, theme parties can be a blast! Some popular themes include:

  1. Pirate Party
  2. Gothic Party
  3. Naked Party (all clothes and inhibitions are left at the door)
  4. Grass Skirts and Coconuts Party
  5. Toga Party (aka Roman Orgy)
  6. Nuts & Bolts Party
  7. Masquerade Ball

 The Setting

Small swinger parties are usually held in a host’s house.  Large parties will rent out hotel floors, bars or ballrooms, but for the small party, your house will do.

You will want to make sure you have a few rooms that are designated as "play" rooms.  If a couple or threesome want some private moments, there should be a room they can go to with a bed or a mattress and a door.

The main party room should have enough space for some impromptu dancing, stripping or table dancing.  You can also designate one area for playing games.  A large kitchen table should work fine.

If you have a pool or hot-tub, make sure you have some privacy from the neighbors.  You really don’t want little Timmy from next door watching your activities through his bedroom window!  For our parties, we hang roll-up bamboo blinds on our pool enclosure.

Rules

Each swinger couple has a set of rules that they follow.  For example, some couples like soft-swapping and threesomes while others are full-swap and into exotics.  Try to get a feel for your guests and their rules.  Ask them to tell you if there are certain activities they are uncomfortable with.

Make up some house rules based on your guests and what you are comfortable with.  Communicate them to everyone.  For example:

  1. Comfort comes first! No forcing or coaxing anyone to do anything they don’t want.
  2. No water sports
  3. No sex outside
  4. No full sex in party room (bedrooms only)
  5. No drugs
  6. No pain/bondage/S&M
  7. No drinking and driving
  8. And, most importantly, no drama!

Activities

Party Games are always fun at Swinger Parties.  The games get people to laugh, have a good time and lower their inhibitions.  Be prepared to start a party game if the action starts slowing down.  Have a few ideas ready before the party.  A good resource for adult party games can be found at http://funnysexgames.blogspot.com

Music

Keep the music light and in the background.  Swingers are sociable people and they want to get to know each other.  Loud music makes it hard to talk to each other and get comfortable with their prospective partner.

Later in the evening, as the action gets hot and sexy, have some romantic music ready to go in the stereo.

Miscellaneous

Try to have some basic toiletries and supplies handy for your guests.  Most swingers will know to pack an overnight bag, but towels, robes, lubricants  and condoms will make your guests feel appreciated.

Swingers Parties can be a lot of fun and they can really spice up your love life with your partner.  Have fun and remember, be safe!
