Old favourites Holsten returned in the 99–00
season as shirt sponsors. In fact, to the neutral
observer the brand was so linked with the club
that it seemed like they had never been away!
Adidas became the new kit supplier in a threeyear
deal and produced this fine home kit,
which was premiered to great excitement in
the last home game of 98–99 against Chelsea.
The more traditional club badge also returned
this season in preference to the shield design.
Worn in: A thrilling 3–2 result over Everton
with two late Spurs goals clinching the win,
and a glorious 2–1 triumph over North London
rivals Arsenal (both 99–00 season).
