Terms & Conditions of Business

(applicable to UK Online Store)

1. This Online Store is intended for Business to Business transactions, all prices shown exclude UK VAT and shipping costs. Shipping charges and VAT will be added at the checkout stage.
2. This Online Store is intended ONLY for UK based transactions (delivery address MUST be within the UK) and small quantity orders - for larger orders and non-UK sales please contact our sales department. Payment MUST be in Pounds Sterling (GBP).
3. A fully functional and monitored e-mail address MUST be provided to allow our automated system to communicate transaction information to you. On completion of your online order an automated email will be sent, this will be your payment receipt and will also contain your order details (this email should be printed off and retained for your records).
4. Goods are dispatched by Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day and you will be notified by e-mail when your order has been dispatched. Goods will normally be dispatched within 2 working days of ordering, delivery to most of the UK is usually by 1:00pm the day after dispatch (or the next available normal working day), but some more remote places can be up to 3 working days (please refer to Royal Mail Special Delivery for details).
5. Dispatch and delivery times given above are our normal working practice, but are given as estimates only and are not guaranteed times - specific delivery times can only be given for orders placed directly with and agreed by our sales department, please see 'OTHER ORDERS & QUERIES' below.
6. All deliveries MUST be Signed for on receipt.
7. Prices and specifications are subject to change without prior notice.
8. There will be no binding contract to supply unless or until Search Techniques Ltd. accepts your order by dispatching it to you.
9. Search Techniques Ltd. reserve the right to retain your personal/business details (see '10' for Credit/Debit card details) for our own records. We do not share or otherwise divulge your details to any third parties other than those directly involved in the processing of any business transactions between us.
10. Online payments are securely processed (indicated by the 'locked' padlock on your browser) through PayPal™ using the highest (128 bit) available commercial encryption. It is NOT necessary for you to have a PayPal™ account (nor do you need to open one), you can simply pay using an acceptable Credit or Debit Card. With PayPal™ acting as our online payment processor, sensitive information such as your Credit or Debit Card details are processed solely within their secure systems and are NOT disclosed or transmitted to Search Techniques Ltd. Personal/business details you submit may be subject to security checks for the purpose of fraud prevention.
11. All specifications subject to change without notice.
12. All images for illustration purposes only.
13. All dimensions and sizes are approximate.
14. All goods supplied remain the property of Search Techniques Ltd. until all sums due or owing to Search Techniques Ltd. by the Customer have been paid.
15. All products are covered by a 12 months warranty effective from date of dispatch unless otherwise indicated. All warrantees are Return To Base. In the event of a warrantee claim, Search Techniques Ltd. at its option will repair the goods, replace the goods with a substitute product or refund the purchase price of the goods subject to the goods having been used in the proper manner. Accidental damage and misuse are not covered by the warrantee.
16. These terms & conditions and any contractual arrangements entered into are governed by and will be interpreted in accordance with English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
17. Search Techniques Ltd. reserve the right to amend these terms & conditions without prior notice. It is your responsibility to be aware of Terms & Conditions in force at the time you access this web site.

OTHER ORDERS AND QUERIES.
If you wish to place an order for larger quantities, have specific delivery requirements, require delivery outside of the UK or wish to pay in a currency other than Pounds Sterling (GBP), please contact our sales department who will be able to advise you and assist you in placing your order.
