Many of our Random Search Selectors are used in situations where metal forms at least part of the goods being checked for, we supply a range of high quality metal detectors to facilitate quick, effective and contact free searches of individuals, bags and small packages etc. The metal detectors are of course not restricted to only being used in conjunction with our Random Search Selectors, but are suitable for any application that requires a hand held metal detector.

The current range of metal detectors are backed by over 30 years of experience in the design and manufacture of metal detection equipment. The range covers 8 models including the sophisticated AD17/18 models, which can detect very small pieces that were previously undetectable, the AD18 can detect a 4mm length of 20swg (0.9mm dia.) wire, the AD2600S can detect extremely small pieces of metal that have been ingested or concealed in body cavities. The detectors incorporate Linear Detection Technology, enabling all metals, ferrous and non-ferrous and stainless steel to be detected in any angle or plane. The electronics module, the proven TARGET 12 hermetically sealed unit, is now operational in more than 100 countries.

AD10-2, AD11-2 AND AD11-V HAND HELD METAL DETECTORS

The AD10-2 general purpose detector is a further development of our standard metal detectors, suitable for tough environment and constant use situations, such as Airport and policing applications. Solid state throughout with the exception of the minimum pressure push-button on/off switch, which has a mechanical life of at least 10,000,000 operations (equivalent to 20 years constant use at a major airport). The electronics module is a further development of the proven TARGET 12 hermetically sealed unit.

The AD 11-2 and AD 11-V detectors are suitable for similar applications to the model AD 10-2, but with increased sensitivity to better than 0.1 grams detection mass.

These models also have simultaneous audio/visual alarm facility, with the added ability, via a two-position rocker switch, to turn off the audio sounder, giving the operator a "visual only"; alarm indication, for more discrete user-operation.

The AD11-2 model has proven to be very successful for a wide range of applications including VIP searches, warehouse loss prevention security, nightclubs, courtrooms, police force applications and many more.

AD 11-V Vibration Alert
The AD 11-V has all the features of the AD 11-2, but with the added ability, via a two-position rocker switch, to switch the detector to either standard "audio/visual" setting or "Vibration" only mode. This feature gives the AD11-V the ability to silently alert the operator to the presence of a potential weapon. This feature has proven very useful when working in a noisy environment or if the operator wishes to conduct a search procedure, while keeping eye contact with the subject being screened.

AD16 HAND HELD METAL DETECTOR

The AD16 is a medium sensitivity multipurpose detector with a target size down to 0.3 grams. State of the art design and construction from the "target 12" automatic, hermetically sealed electronics module, user friendly impact resistant ABS plastic case incorporating such features as LED and push-button switch protection, to the latest microchip technology enabling up to 12 months daily use from a single 9V alkaline battery. The ER3000 "DEEP TISSUE" metal detector has been specifically designed for the detection and location of tiny foreign metal objects that have been concealed or ingested deep within the skin tissue or body cavities.
