What motivated you to become a social worker?

I have always been the person people would come to for advice or for someone to listen. As I got older, I realized I wanted to do more to help those who needed it most. I decided to put my passion of helping others to good use and become a social worker. I received my BSW and then went on to to earn my MSW. I am now a juvenile probation officer trying to help kids turn their life around.
