DoD has posted its 2013-3 SBIR/STTR Topics on the Web.. Amon othr oddities, it is significantly smaller (fewer topics) than usual and the MDA is conspicuously missing. Contact with topic authors is permitted 'till 26 Aug. Proposals will be due by 6:00 am 25 September 2013.

DoE has posted its 2014-1 SBIR/STTR Topics on the Web.. The application istructions are found here. Letters of intent to apply will be due 3 September 2013 and appplications will be due by 15 October 2013. In addition, Doe Will hold three Webinars to highlight topics on 22, 23 & 24 July.

The NIH has reissued its Omnibus Solicitation for 2013 with NEW RULES. Be sure to download and use the NEW solicitation before submitting to the August or December deadlines.

Virginia's Center for InnovativeTechology (CIT) has announced a special, DoD oriented, How to Win SBIR AwardsSM event to be held in Arlington, VA on 6 August 2013. The US Navy's SBIR PM is also scheduled to speak at this event.

The Maryland SBTDC has announced a training seminar for Crafting Federal Cost/Budget ProposalsSM to be held at the University of Maryland in College Park, MD on 31 July 2013.

EPA has posted its 2014-1 SBIR Solicitation on the Web. Proposals will be due (received in NorthCarolina) by 12:00 PM on 13 August 2013. ]

USDA has posted its 2014-1 SBIR Solicitation on the Web. Grant requests will be due into Grants.gov by 5:00 PM on 26 Sep. 2013. ]

The NIH/PHS has posted its 2013-2 SBIR & STTR Grants Solicitation on the Web. Proposals will be due 5 April, 5 August & 5 December 2013 (AIDS -related applicaitons are due on 7th of following months) . [We hope to have ToolKits for this one bult and available around Mid February.]

The SBIR Center has published "An analysis of the NEW SBIR/STTR re-authorizing legislation from the applicant's point of view.". A PDF copy of the actual legislateion can be downloaded from that same page.
