All courses meet Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines in terms of learning outcomes, taught content and assessment.

Adult Basic Life Support

This 3 hour course Includes theory & practice of basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation, plus management of choking and recovery position.

Maximum number of learners: 10

Adult Intermediate Life Support (ILS)

This one day course provides staff with the first responder skills that they require to manage a cardiac arrest. Includes basic life support, airway management & defibrillation and meets the core
competencies for ILS as laid down the Resuscitation Council (UK).

Maximum number of learners: 6

Adult Basic Life Support, AED and Anaphylaxis Training

This cost effective 5 hour course provides staff with the theory & practice in adult basic life support, safe defibrillation.

Maximum number of learners: 6

Adult Advanced Life Support

This one day course provides senior staff with the skills they require to safely lead a cardiac arrest, including: advanced airway management, rhythm recognition, defibrillation, peri-arrest management, special circumstances and team leadership.

Maximum number of learners: 6

Paediatric Basic Life Support (2.5 hours)

Includes early recognition and treatment of the acutely ill infant or child, and basic life support.

Maximum number of learners: 7

Paediatric Advanced Life Support (7.5 hours)

This course Provides staff who care for infants & children with skills they require to recognise and manage acute illness at an early stage, basic life support, use of the Broselow System, rhythm recognition, defibrillation, and general management a paediatric cardiac arrest.

Maximum number of learners: 6

Course Certification

Candidates who demonstrate a competent level of knowledge and skills will be awarded a certificate which is valid for 12 months.
