Constructed around the turn of the 19th Century of local limestone with a stone slate roof as a barn.

Originally it had an additional barn to the side constructed using the same local materials, however, this fell into disrepair and was demolished in the early 1960's the owner then replaced it with an ex "Yorkshire Show" concrete framed building as seen here.

This is how it originally looked and now has been completely changed.

The main barn was basically converted in 1988 and unfortunately many of the original features were covered up, the adjoining barn was at first used as a milking shed and later garages.

The garden and driveway had been laid-out but had only been basically maintained for many years.

We purchased the property in November 2001 and began the long process of bringing the building back.
