Welcome to our world of flowers and plants in Folkestone!
You can order in person, on the phone or by the webshop. You can click and collect from the shop or organise a delivery of our lovely flowers. Please order by 1pm for same day delivery. You can order and collect from the shop until 5pm.
A phone number for the recipient helps so please include one. If the recipient is not in please let us know if there is a safe place to leave the flowers.
Our Summer designs reflect the style of a cottage garden and will feature as many English grown flowers as we can. We have a selection of arrangements featuring all the best of the season including scented stocks, peonies and delphinium.
We have a wide range of houseplants and seasonal patio plants for balconies and small gardens. The team has a wide range of plant knowledge to advise and recommned the best plant for the right place.
Our delivery area includes Folkestone Kent, Sandgate, Hawkinge, Elham, Lyminge, Densole, Alkham and surrounding villages. We offer same day delivery but please contact us or place an order online before 1pm for this service. As an Interflora member we can also arrange for deliveries both nationally and Internationally.

About Us
8-10 Church Street in Folkestone has been a florist shop for over 100 years. Stem By Stem was established in 2007 to continue the floral tradition. The shop itself is an interesting example of Victorian shop architecture and is set in the heart of the oldest part of Folkestone near the 13th century church of Saint Mary and St Eanswthye. Local legend has it the old garden at the rear of the shop formed part of the convent grounds founded by St Eanswythe in the ninth century.
