GEORGE RUFF
Senior Principal

Mr. Ruff is the founder and senior principal of Trinity, leading the company's overall investment and strategic initiatives. Mr. Ruff has more than thirty years of comprehensive domestic and international experience in real estate and hotel investment and operations, and has engineered, negotiated, and closed more than $3 billion in transactions. Mr. Ruff co-founded and also serves as chief executive officer of Trinity Investment Trust L.L.C., Trinity's affiliated predecessor company, where he oversaw approximately $1 billion of real estate and hotel investments across North America, Asia, and Europe. Mr. Ruff also founded Fall Creek Partners, a Trinity-affiliated investment and advisory firm providing real estate and hotel asset management services. Before his independent investment activities, Mr. Ruff served as partner and executive vice president of real estate for the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. Prior to joining Ritz-Carlton, Mr. Ruff co-founded Ruff, Callaghan & Hemmeter Company, a Hawaii real estate investment and development company that developed two of Hawaii's more prominent resorts. Mr. Ruff also co-founded the autonomous hotel division of VMS Realty Partners, where he directed acquisitions, asset management, finance, dispositions, development, and joint-venture relationships for more than fifty hotel and resort investments totaling more than $2 billion. Prior to his association with VMS, he served as chief operating officer of Chicago-based Seymour N. Logan Associates, Inc. Mr. Ruff graduated cum laude from De Paul University with a B.S. in commerce, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a founding member of the Real Estate Center at De Paul, and serves on De Paul's College of Commerce Dean's Advisory Council.

AL FRAZZINI
Chief Investment Officer

Mr. Frazzini is Chief Investment Officer and is responsible for raising capital, sourcing and structuring acquisition opportunities, supervising portfolio asset management, and overseeing the operation of various affiliated and subsidiary companies and holdings. Beginning in 2005, together with other partnerships and third party clients, he's capitalized, acquired, developed, renovated, repositioned and asset managed over 7,700-rooms in the hotel, resort and gaming sectors located throughout the U.S., UK and Europe with an aggregate value exceeding U.S. $1.5 billion. For nine years prior to joining Trinity, Mr. Frazzini was a Vice President with Wafra Investment Advisory Group, Inc., a U.S. based pension fund advisor to the Social Security Trust Fund of the State of Kuwait where he was involved in all aspects of the firm's $2 billion commercial real estate and lodging portfolio including acquisitions, asset management, fund raising and management of five equity/mezzanine debt funds with $450 million of invested capital. His lodging-related activities included the oversight of a luxury portfolio which included the Mark Hotel - New York, Turnberry Isle Resort & Club - Miami, the Hotel du Rhone - Geneva and the Rafael Hotel- Munich; the joint venture oversight of the Rafael Hotel Group Limited, a luxury hotel management company based in Monaco and the asset management and disposition of the Mutual Benefit Life Assurance Company's REO lodging and loan portfolio which included over forty lodging assets. Mr. Frazzini holds an M.S. in International Real Estate Investment from New York University's Real Estate Institute, a Certificate in Hospitality Investment and Asset Management from Cornell University, and a B.A. from St. Thomas University. During his affiliation with the New York University, he has assisted with curriculum development and has been an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Masters of Real Estate Science program as well as the School of Continuing Real Estate Education.

 




VERONICA SABA
Director of Asset Transitions




 

Ms. Saba is Director of Asset Transitions and has over 25 years of hospitality experience spanning all traditional lodging segments from Select Service to Luxury with a specialty in Condo-hotels, Fractional Condo-hotels and management oversight of Homeowners Associations and Parking Operations. Over the course of her career, Ms. Saba has directly managed, asset managed, developed, renovated, and/or repositioned assets with an aggregate value exceeding U.S. $700 million in both branded and unbranded environments. Her background encompasses all phases of property operations with a specialty in transitioning lodging-related assets within a greater repositioning strategy in both union and non-union environments. With a wide-ranging background with brands and management companies including Fairmont, Hilton, Aqua Hospitality, Joie de Vivre Hospitality and Kimpton Hotels, her experience extends from the Continental U.S. to Hawaii where she's developed a specific expertise and cultural understanding of the Hawaiian market having been active since 2011 and developed, renovated and repositioned nearly 6,000-rooms ranging from the select service segment through the full service luxury resort segment on each off the six Hawaiian islands. Her recognized achievements include Best Place to Work- Hawaii, Healthiest Employer - Hawaii, Green Business Award -Hawaii, Na Po'e Pa'ahana Award - Hawaii (Lodging and Tourism Association "Top Honors" for exemplary service) and Pacific Business News Leadership Award - Hawaii. Ms. Saba has also successfully assisted in the reengineering of two management companies which included the development and implementation of a central reservations system, centralized accounting system, uniform PMS/POS systems and the creation of centralized sales and marketing strategies and GDS codes as part of multiple property repositioning and relaunch strategies.

ROBERT GREENBERG
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Greenberg is Chief Financial Officer and is a Certified Public Accountant with 21 years of public and private real estate accounting experience. Prior to joining Trinity, Mr. Greenberg was a manager with RSM McGladrey Inc., a national public accounting firm where he was a member of the commercial real estate group which provides audit and tax services to a wide variety of institutional and private real estate investors. Prior to RSM McGladrey, Inc., Mr. Greenberg was a manager with The Blackstone Group, a private equity investment firm in New York. Mr. Greeberg is responsible for supervising internal accounting and control functions as well as external audits. His involvement with all accounting processes is wide ranging and includes close interaction at the individual asset level with regional and onsite accounting teams, to portfolio accounting and consolidations as well as his execution of platform level accounting and consolidation. Mr. Greenberg holds a B.S in Accounting from Brooklyn College in New York.

JOHN LABRUZZO
Director of Operational Asset Management

Mr. Labruzzo is Director of Operational Asset Managements and has over 30 years of hotel operating experience with a strong focus on strategic repositioning, business plan execution and significant onsite supervisory management experience in operations, executive team building, food and beverage operations, and sales and marketing in both branded and independent environments. Prior to joining Trinity, Mr. Labruzzo was employed in a variety of leadership roles and worked with several notable hotel brands and institutions including Hyatt, Starwood, Hilton, Marriot, Hard Rock Hotels, InterContinental Hotel Groups, Tishman, Mutual Benefit Life Assurance Corporation and Connecticut Teachers Retirement Pension Fund. He was the development team lead for several hotels and resorts including the Orlando Peabody, the Swan and Dolphin Resorts at Walt Disney World, and the Ritz Carlton Washington, DC. Mr. Labruzzo holds a B.S from Southeastern Louisiana University, is a certified hotel administrator, and was guest lecturer at several industry seminars including the Central Florida Hotel Association.





 



KRISHNA D. MISRA
Director of Construction and Project Managment 

Mr. Misra is Director of Construction and Project Management and is a registered architect in the States of New York, New Jersey, and California and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. He brings 45 years of diversified global experience to Trinity as an architect, planner, and project manager and is experienced in managing all phases of the design, budgeting, construction, and project management processes for all types of commercial real estate asset classes and specialists in significant hotel repositioning and renovating efforts and hotel development. Mr. Misra is a recognized expert in converting stated goals and objectives into cost effective designs and programming that range from cosmetic renovations to highly complex adaptive reuse projects as well as significant experience in ground up construction. Mr. Misra is a graduate of the University of Roorke, India where his honors included the University Silver and Gold medals. He is also a French Government Scholarship Award recipient.

ROHIT MISRA
Project Manager

Mr. Misra is Project Manager and is a registered architect in States of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Florida, and is a member of the American Institute of Architecture (AIA) and the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). He is responsible for project planning, cost analysis, and field management, among a variety of other design and constriction disciplines. Mr. Misra brings over 20 years of experience to Trinity in all phases of project management including financial feasibility analysis, design and space planning, program and budget analysis and construction scheduling, administration and inspection. His wide ranging planning, project and construction experience assures successful program development, appropriate situational field adjustment and effective construction execution across a wide breadth of project scopes in all real estate asset classes including hotels. Mr. Misra is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he graduated with Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Architecture degrees, and holds a Masters Degree in Real Estate Investment and Development from New York University's Schack Institute of Real Estate where he is also an Adjunct Professor.
