Damien Hirst’s “St. Sebastian, Exquisite Pain” – MCA Denver

Yesterday I had some free time so I decided to head over to the Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver and check out their new Damien Hirst exhibit.  The exhibit was great and featured 4 of Hirst’s larger works including “St. Sebastian, Exquisite Pain” which is pictured above.  The timing couldn’t be better for the Hirst exhibit to come to Denver, and the landing of St. Sebastion specifically is a huge accomplishment for the museum as well as the city of Denver.  If you’re near the Denver area, definitely try and catch the exhibit which will be running for almost a full year, until August of 09.

It is all fair in love, war and politics since time immemorial. It is normal for the key players to fight with one another. As a Christian I dare quote from the Bible that the twelve disciples of Jesus Christ were always highly jealous of each other during their time on earth.
In Malaysian politics Uncle Lim,Uncle Samy,Uncle Nik,Uncle Anwar and Uncle Koh do also have problems with their internal key players. But they can settle it quickly within a very short period of time. They will immediately continue to work at the grass root levels. It is at these masses where they can cast a strong foundation for everybody.
When will they ever learn ????
