13.09.2004 - Album Released
Our debut album is released today and you can find it in your local record shop as we speak. Or you can always buy it off the web at one of the following sites... Amazon, HMV, Virgin Megastore or Tower Records.

11.08.2004 - Album Tour
To coincide with the release of our debut album on September 13th, we are planning a short tour to some of our favourite places in the UK. Click here for all the details.

10.08.2004 - Live Radio Sessions
We have two live radio sessions in the next week or so - firstly tonight, Tuesday 10th August on Xfm from 9pm, in session for Claire Sturgess on X-Posure. Then next week, Wednesday 18th August at BBC 6music from 7:30pm, in session on The Tom Robinson Show.

09.08.2004 - Still Strung Out Released
Our new single 'Still Strung Out' comes out in the shops today. You can see what has been being said about it on the Reviews page. More importantly, you can get hold of a copy in any high street music shop or online at HMV by clicking here.

07.08.2004 - Korean Tour Announced
Believe it or not we have been asked to play some shows in South Korea! We have obviously jumped at the chance to get out there and play to our namesake people. So far the confirmed dates are 3 nights in Seoul at the Dong Sung-Dong Live Theater.

12.07.2004 - Virgin Radio Single Of The Week
Still Strung Out has been made single of the week on the Pete & Geoff breakfast show on Virgin Radio. It seems to be on at 9:45am each morning and then also through the day at other times. You can hear it on the dial at 105.8FM in London, 1215AM in the rest of the UK and on the web here.

09.07.2004 - Release Schedule
The release dates have just been confirmed from our label Storm Music... The single 'Still Strung Out' comes out on 9th August and the album follows 5 weeks later on September 13th.

07.07.2004 - BBC 6Music playlist and Radio 1
We've just heard that we've been added to the playlist at BBC 6Music as of today. You can request it online by going to the 6Music website or by contacting Steve Lamacq directly by clicking on his name. They have also started playing Still Strung Out on Radio 1. You can e-mail the following DJs to request it there... Zane Lowe, Jo Whiley, Edith Bowman.

06.07.2004 - Xfm playlist
Those lovely people at Xfm have added our new single 'Still Strung Out' to their playlist today. You can request it online by going to the Xfm website or by asking one of the DJs by clicking on their name here to e-mail them (Claire Sturgess or John Kennedy). We've also just recorded a live session at their studios in Leicester Square which will be aired sometime in the next few weeks. We'll let you know all the details nearer the time.

17.06.2004 - Lamacq Interview
Steve Lamacq has asked us to do an interview for the 'New Favourite Band' item on his BBC 6Music radio show. It seems he likes our forthcoming single 'Still Strung Out'. It's out on August 9th but you can hear it, along with the interview, live this Sunday afternoon (20 June 2004 at 3pm BST) on digital radio, digital TV channel 870 or from the BBC website.

15.06.2004 - Deal Signed and Album Release Date Set
We finally inked that record deal with Storm Music today. It's all very exciting! Now what this means for you is... our debut album 'Neon' will be available in the shops through them on the 13th September. The track listing is as follows:

14.04.2004 - May Tour Announced
We're pleased to announce that we'll be doing a short tour in May promoted by our friends at Drownedinsound.com. The tour features ourselves, their new signings The Kaiser Chiefs and Chikinki. 16.03.2004 - Islington Academy Gig With Mower Announced
We've been offered the main support slot for our buddy Mower's London headline show.
It's at the Islington Academy on 23 March and since it's an offer we just couldn't refuse, we've cancelled our Water Rats show on the 24th. The Fades are first on so you'd be wise to get there early. In fact, you'll probably need to book tickets ahead of time because it looks like it's going to sell-out.

12.03.2004 - Signed To Storm Music
We're very pleased to announce that we have just signed to Manchester-based Storm Music, and this means that you'll be able to hear/buy our debut album at some point before the end of the summer.

26.02.2004 - Sheffield University Date Added
We've just been added to the bill at the Fuzz Club, Sheffield University on 4 March. We'll be supporting The Keys and will be onstage around 9:30pm. We had a great gig there last time so this one should be even better! Hope to see you there.

13.02.2004 - London ULU and Plymouth University Cancelled
Bad News... Ol has come down with some sort of chest infection and can't sing so we've had to cancel tonight's gig at ULU and also tomorrow night's at Plymouth University. Apologies but you know, it happens sometimes... Especially on Friday the 13th! Anyway, we'll be back out in London and Plymouth before you know it.

07.01.2004 - Album Recording Finished
Just to let you know that we've finished recording our new album with Lenny Franchi and it's sounding great! It was hard work but a lot of fun. Now we're going to get a few days rest and then start rehearsing the tunes for a few upcoming gigs.

04.12.2003 - 'How Does It Feel' Video Online
The folks at Xfm online have been kind enough to stream our new video on their site, along with featuring a chat about it with Brent. The video is basically us playing live at the Mean Fiddler from back in September, interspersed with footage of us from the day of the gig etc. - you can read more about it on Xfm's site.

24.11.2003 - Links...
You can now pre-order our forthcoming single, 'How Does It Feel', from HMV's website. Available at the bargain price of £1.99 on CD, it includes 'Talking To Myself' as a second track. If you want to order it elsewhere, it's released in the UK on Drowned in Sound Recordings with the catalogue number DIS0002, next Monday (December 1st).

Also, with the single now being on Xfm's playlist, it would be great if you could request the track for their Music:Response show. There's a form at the bottom of this page on their site where you can do so.

18.11.2003 - Short Notice Show
Due to Chinese all-girl band Hang On The Box having to pull out of the New World Disorder tour that has just started in the UK, the three other bands taking part (Ludes, My Red Cell and Future Kings Of Spain), are now being joined by us at their second London gig, on Wednesday night (19th). It takes place at the Islington Academy 2 (formerly the Marquee) and we should be on stage at 7:30. If you can make it down then it'll be great to see you.

10.11.2003 - Xfm
Great news to report in that our new single ('How Does It Feel') has been added to Xfm's playlist, following up from several plays on Xposure over the past few weeks. There'd be no harm in contacting any of the DJs to request them to play the track!

06.11.2003 - Shows
We play this Saturday (the 8th) at Plymouth University. Then on Saturday December 6th at Bedford Esquires with Seachange. Also, if you're coming to the Kill All Hippies night that we're playing on Friday 28th at The Fortress Studios and you want to get on the £3 guest list, just fill in this form.

05.11.2003 - Our Album
We start recording our debut album from Wednesday 12th November at Jacobs Studios in Surrey. We are working with Lenny Franchi who produced 'How Does It Feel' (our forthcoming single), who's worked with Tricky, Björk, British Sea Power, Garbage, The Music, The Divine Comedy, Mogwai and Goldrush amongst others, and so are excited about getting to work on it. Keep checking here for a list of the tracks that we plan to record. Unfortunately this means that we need to cancel the gig at Stratford - sorry about that to anyone who was planning to go, but we will be back as soon as we have finished the record - again watch this space.

29.10.2003 - More Gigs
We've been asked to play a show in London this Thursday at the Metro on Oxford Street - apologies for the short notice - and we're on stage at 8:30. Also, we're playing the Kill All Hippies night at The Fortress in London on November 28th.

27.10.2003 - Single Of The Week
Our next single, 'How Does It Feel', is the Breakfast Show Single Of The Week this week on Phill Jupitus' show on BBC 6 Music.

25.09.2003 - New York Live Date Announced
We have been asked to play in New York at the annual CMJ music conference. If you're over there it would be great to see you! We will play at a Best Of British Showcase held by the Tiswas Club at the legendary Don Hills venue on Saturday October 25th. We hope to see you there!

24.09.2003 - New Live Dates
We have been asked to play with Electric Soft Parade for two dates on their forthcoming tour. These are at Reading Fez Club on October 29th and Leicester Charlotte on October 31st. Tickets can be purchased at wayahead.com. We will also be playing a club night at Essex University on October 20th - contact the venue for more details.

08.09.2003 - New Single Release Date Announced
Our new single, How Does It Feel, is going to be released on Monday 24th November on Drowned In Sound Records. One of our favourites, Talking To Myself, is on the flipside.

We have just finished mastering our new single, How Does It Feel, at Abbey Road studios in London.

05.08.2003 - Recording Commenced
We've started a 4-day recording session with Lenny Franchi down at Jacobs Studios in Surrey to record the follow up single to Machine Code. Lenny has worked with Bjork, Tricky and British Sea Power in the past.

22.07.2003 - Launch Party Live Review

21.07.2003 - Machine Code Released
Machine Code is out today. You can go and buy it from Rough Trade, HMV, Amazon, Virgin Megastore and all other good record shops. It's getting great reviews in the press and we're getting pretty excited about it. The launch party is tonight at The Spitz in East London.

12.07.2003 - Jackson Date Announced
Jackson, the side-project band of Chris Shiflett (guitar player with the Foo Fighters) is playing a Reading festival warm-up gig at the London Barfly and we've been confirmed as the support. Click here for more info.

We've just been confirmed as the support band for the fabulous Mclusky at their London Garage gig on August 13th. This is one for your diaries... it's going to be good.

03.07.2003 - Death Disco Date Added
We've been asked by Alan McGee (the guy that ran the Creation label and signed Oasis) to play his club night - Death Disco - at the Notting Hill Arts Club on the 16 July. It is the re-launch night for the old punk fan-zine Sniffin' Glue so should be a lot of fun.
