X-Plane aircraft I have made - downloads

My aircraft are primarily designed to be flown, but I also want them to look right as far as possible. This means they sometime have a bit more extensive avionics fit than quite realistic, both to help you fly them by giving you a better situational awareness and make them possible to fly online.
These are my favourites and the most popular ones, most recent listed first. (You may need an account at the site I've uploaded them.)
None so far have a 3D cockpit, but most have mostly correct fields of view 360 degrees around.

For X-Plane 10

Piper Pawnee
- Glider tug. What I prefer to set as tow aircraft in the X-Plane menus.
[Version 10] (New 2007-01-04 [8.50], updated 2011-12-19.)

Not primarily intended to be flown; I only use it as the glider tug, so while its performance and handling was adjusted to be right in version 8, probably they're not spot on in version 10.

Made for X-Plane 9 but works in 10

Nord NC.701 Martinet - As an aerial photographic aircraft with the Swedish mapping agency.
[Version 9.40] (Updated (from 8.60) 2009-12-13.)

Works fine in X-Plane 10. As long as you only fly in daylight.

Spartan 7W Executive - 1930's travel aircraft. Not original for me, just modification of other maker's aircraft
[Version 9.40] (Updated (from 8.60) 2009-11-29.)
CVM S.25 - Swedish reconnaissance aircraft from the 1920s. This one used as air ambulance.
[Version 9.21] (Updated (from version 8) 2008-11-16.)

Flies OK in X-Plane 10.
Short Sealand - Light amphibian.
[Version 9.20] (Updated (from version 8) 2008-08-10.)

Flies OK in X-Plane 10.

For X-Plane 9

WT-9 Dynamic - Modern ultralight.
[Version 9.55] (New 2008-11-25, updated 2010-09-17.)

Works almost OK in X-Plane 10. At some speeds you can get enourmous flutter. Thought it had to do with the airfoil, but it's not that easy.

Fokker F28 Fellowship - Short distance airliner, made to operate from small fields. First flew in 1967, 241 manufactured.
[Version 9.41] (Updated 2010-02-28, new 2009-11-14.)

Doesn't work well in X-Plane 10. A pity since it's got rather nifty custom instruments and ground spoilers which only operate on the ground, which is something I wished for a long time before this became possible and I made this.

Slingsby T.21B Sedbergh - Vintage glider. Fun to fly.
[Version 9.02] (Updated 2008-06-15.)

Airfoils need updating in order to work in version 10. I will update it because this is one of the types I've flown. (Looping even, but then I wasn't holding the stick.)

de Havilland DH.84 Dragon - 1930's six passenger airliner.
[Version 9.00rc2] (Updated (from version 8) 2008-04-01.)

Haven't tested it in X-Plane 10 yet.

  • Flygindustri Fi-3, LG 105 - Experimental Swedish 1944 cargo glider. Only a few built.
    [Version 9.40] (New 2007-08-30, updated to version 9 2010-01-01.)
  • Windex 1200C - Self launching aerobatic glider.
    [Version 9.00rc2] (Updated (from version 8) 2008-04-02.)

For X-Plane 8 (and some for 7.63)

  • Murphy Moose - Preview - Modern bush plane. [Version 8.60] (New 2007-03-01.) Flies OK in version 9.4x] Interesting in that it was quite detailed without using objects at all, only Plane-Maker.
  • Nord 262 - Preview - French regional airliner from the 1960's. [Version 8.60] (Latest update 2007-03-06.) One of my favourite aircraft types, but hard to bring to version 9.
  • Air Tractor AT-802F - Preview - Fire fighting water bomber. [Version 8.50] (New 2006-12-21.)
Made at the request from someone who wanted one for 7.63, so I made them both at the same time. [Version 7.63] (New 2006-12-18.)
  • Saab Safir - Preview - Swedish air force propeller trainer. Not original for me, just modification of other maker's aircraft [Version 8.50] (Latest update 2006-12-05.) Flies OK in version 9.
  • PAC Cresco - Preview. - Agricultural utility aircraft. Also used for freight, skydiving, firefighting and survey. [Version 9.21] (Compatibility update 2008-12-20 of the old 7.63 version.) One of my first aircraft. (Sort of, it actually was about the 28:th.) I started out to make a Fletcher FU-24 which wasn't finished but it grew into this one.
  • Handley Page Halton - Preview - Airliner conversion of Halifax bombers. [Version 9.00rc3] (New 2008-04-11.)
  • GAF Pika - Preview - Manned prototype for the GAF Jindivik target drone. It's correct that it doesn't have a rudder. [Version 8.64] (New 2008-03-01.)
  • Saab B 18B - Preview - Swedish 1940-50's medium bomber. Very nice to fly. Not original for me, just modification of other maker's aircraft [Version 8.15] (Latest update 2005-09-29.) Flies OK version 9.
  • Boeing 299 Felix - Preview - Airliner conversion of B-17F/G. Not original for me, just modification of other maker's aircraft. [Version 8.60] (New 2007-07-08.)
  • Fokker F.II - One of the very first purpose built airliners. [Version 8.40] (New 2006-07-20.) Preview.
  • BA-4B - Preview - Swedish light aerobatic aircraft. [Version 7.63 and 8.30] (Latest update 2006-01-04.)
  • Gloster Gauntlet - One of the last biplane fighters [Version 8.60] (New 2007-07-07.)
  • Heinkel He 70 - Preview - 1930's airliner. [Version 8.60] (New 2007-03-25.)
  • Mauboussin Corsaire - French travel aircraft from the 1930's and 40's. [Version 8.60] (Latest update 2007-03-06.)
  • Brewster B-239 - Preview - Finnish air force fighter. [Version 8.40] (New 2006-05-30.)
  • SAAB 21R - Preview - 1:st generation jet fighter. [Version 8.40] (New 2006-05-05.)

There are more aircraft than I've listed here, aircraft skins, CSL packages and some utilities made by me at X-Plane.org, but I think that site now requires that you're registered in order to be allowed to search for [my, author=URF] files.

In all, there were about 90 projects 2004-2009, not all finished or released (but at one time only two other had uploaded more files to x-plane.org). No aircraft started in 2010 nor 2011. One reason is that it seems impossible to teach me how to make a 3D cockpit and with such a wide screen I have now I almost need one to fly.
