Glad to find your website. The Center for Women’s Health is supportive of Vbacs. This is particularly important if you want to deliver at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ–very very very few doctors who cover there will do Vbacs. it has one of the highest c- section rates in the country! But the Center for Women’s Health will do them, as will the docs who cover them. I am still pregnant so I am waiting to see how that support translates into reality. But at least they are willing to consider it!

http://www.tcwh.medem.com/home.htm

Englewood Hospital does Vbacs, and Dr. Nofit Weiss’s practice is supposed to be good. A friend trying for a Vbac at Englewood had a lot of options. There is at least one doc at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck who does them (don’t know his name)–he supports a large orthodox jewish population who want to have lots of kids, so the limits c-sections place on having large families is important to them. I have been told that Hackensack Hospital does not have a ban but is not vbac-supportive.

Hi, my name is Jennifer Jeppson and I’m listed on here as a vbac midwife. I have assisted at vbac’s, but I do not practice as a midwife in North Dakota or Idaho (which is where I just moved). I currently only take work as a monitrice. On a side note, Dr. Walker at Sanford health in Fargo, ND is a family practice doctor that is EXTREMELY vbac friendly. She caught the baby of a friend of mine just a few days ago and it was a vba3c (she did have several natural births mixed in between c-sections).
