Have you ever felt so strongly that you were going to do something, that when people started telling you of all the things that could go wrong, the reasons why you shouldn’t and all of the other , blah, blah, blahs…

you get to the point where your attitude is just, “you can either get in my way or you can help me”?

That is where I am in my project to get my new business going before September.

I don’t know what happened but about two months ago, I was being very careful, thinking that I had to get this or that done before I started seriously “breaking ground” on the new facility.

I woke up with a fire in my  heart to get moving on it and the last two weeks have been like a whirlwind of ideas, steps forward and decisions made. It was clear where the first monies should be spent and who should do the work.

Wow! All of the sudden, all of the ideas, thoughts and conversations with professionals have come together and I feel like a horse with the bit in its teeth running for the finish line.

Anyone out there who has had a dream…and you have not taken a step toward making it happen…I would encourage you to do the following…

Picture the finished product first. Picture how you want it to be. Visualise yourself there, doing whatever it is and come up with a few important details…

Then, everyday or so, take a baby step in that direction. It won’t happen if you sit in your chair just dreaming about it. You do have to take some kind of physical action but you also do not have to figure out all of the details of how it’s going to happen.

The hows are not going to be clear until later, if ever.

Just move in the direction that you want to go and I don’t know how it happens…but something supernatural takes over and it starts taking shape. Okay, I think the something supernatural is God…but whatever you think, it will happen.

Stay focused and don’t drop the dream, and by all means…stay happy. Remember, this is your dream.
