Do you have in your Mac App Store an update for Angry Birds but when you click update it says sign into asdfff2011@mail.ru?
Okay I made a post on a different way to remove it but if you want to be still illegal here’s how to remove it.
*DISCLAIMER*
In no way do I recommend downloading pirating software, If you have pirated software you should support the developers for making the software because without them, that program wouldn’t exist.
Okay now that I put that out lets dig in… Okay first you need the Twitter App from the Mac App Store, once you have that open up to Show Package Contents> Contents then copy the _MASReciept. Once you have that copied go into Final Cut Pro X>Show Package Contents>Contents then replace FCPX’s _MASReciept with the one from Twitter. Once you did that, The “Sign into asdfff2011@mail.ru” on the Mac App Store should be gone.

hmm 4 out of 2 people who commented on this post had it work. my friend (OfficiallyReviewed) had that MAS prob and found out that doing this worked so maybe you’re not doing it right?
Have you also Motion installed? I solved it to replace the files there
replacing MAS only in Final Cut doesn’t solve the problem, after copying it to Motion i finally got rid of that annoying updates. thanks

i got a pre-cracked motion 5 so no work for me hahah.
What I am saying is replace the _MASReciept in the contents folder of Motion 5 and also FCP X and should remove the annoying update notification in App Store.

yes…I didnt get it to work by only putting it in the FCP X folder as instructed above…so I thought hmmm Motion 5 was a crack too…tried it in there and poof Gone… 🙂
yeah because this would apply’s to all cracks unless the crack is done right like the motion 5 i downloaded.
Copy “_MASReceipt” folder to “>Show Package Contents>Contents”
in both Final Cut X and Motion.

Genius guys genius! No more Russian invasion on the app store! I replaced the folders in both motion and fcp, but not compressor. Now I bought this software off of ebay so the possibility of it being cracked is annoying, but hey the software works.

everyone should be running angry birds 1.0.3. there isnt any angry birds update yet.

Oh yeah, In lion it’s native! So is the MAS update thingy still there?
It says: “FaceTime.app” can’t be modified or deleted because it’s required by Mac OS X.

Actually all you got to do is:
Go to Finder/Applications/
Right-Click Final Cut Pro and click on Show Package Contents
And then go to: Contents/_MASReceipt/receipt
Delete all the info inside receipt and that’s it.
You won’t have to download Twitter

You guys realize that by doing this, you are putting your OWN Apple login info as the “buyer” of the cracked app(s) you are using… right? That makes it pretty obvious to Apple who you are and which illegal software of theirs you are using. Just saying.
No. they don’t know that it isn’t paid for. All you’re doing is making it look installed in the app store but that’s all, you can’t even upgrade via MAS.

hi, I’ve deleted fcp x due to personal prefrence, and for some reason its still displaying the message, is there a way of removing it, because it won’t let me download the updates for my other software

well, do you have any pirated apps? Because if you still do, the update will still be there.
Make sure all apps are inside your Application Folder only…
If you have copy or backup copy of that Final Cut X somewhere else, you should do the same thing, copy the _MASReciept to that folder as well.

I used this method when FCP 10.0.0 came out and it worked great, however does anyone know how to update to FCP 10.0.3? In the app store FCP is listed as “installed” but not under “purchased” so there is no way to update the app.
I have tried downloading the trial version of 10.0.3, opened its package contents and tried to see if I could figure out what files would need to be transferred to the FCP 10.0.0 package contents but had not luck.
you would have to wait for 10.0.3 to be uploaded to “the bay” then download it and redo the MASReciept thingy.
That’s how I got 10.0.2.
So basically, every time there’s an update to FCPX, we’ll have to delete the old version and download the latest and redo the whole process?
Also, everytime I open FCPX 10.0.2 I get a notice telling me that:
‘Projects and Events must be updated to work with this version of Final Cut Pro’ etc. Then I must choose to Ignore or click OK.
What does this mean and how do I get it to stop popping up every time I open.

Solution 1 – Spotlight works but the index is incomplete or empty:
1) Open System Preferences > Spotlight
2) Under the Privacy tab. Add your Macintosh HD (or whatever your main hard disk is called) to the list.
3) Close the window. Wait a few seconds. Then go back to Spotlight settings and remove the entry you just added.
4) The spotlight index should now begin to re-index completely. (A dot will fade-in/out inside the Spotlight icon in the taskbar)
5) Wait for it to finish and then launch the Mac App Store. You should now see updates in the Updates tab.
Solution 2 – Spotlight indexing is disabled (frequent on Mac OS X Server)
1) Open a Terminal window.
2) Type the following command: sudo mdutil -i on /
3) A message saying “Indexing enabled.” should appear after a few seconds.
4) Close the Terminal window and the Spotlight indexing should now start automatically. (Again, a dot will appear inside the Spotlight icon during the indexing process)
5) Wait for it to finish and then launch the Mac App Store. You should now see updates in the Updates tab.
It would be a good thing for Apple developers to check if the spotlight index is OK before displaying a completely useless error message to the user…

This worked for Final Cut Pro X 10.0 and Motion 5.0. There is no _MASReceipt in Final Cut Pro X 10.0.4 or Compressor 4.0.
But at least I don’t see any unwanted updates available in the App Store.
