A former googler, a man named Evan Williams started a new company called “Odeo.” It was supposed to be a podcasting site. He asked his other former googler, Biz stone to help him with managing Odeo. Then, Apple started podcasting on iTunes. This made Odeo not useful anymore. Evan, Biz and another employee of Odeo Jack Dorsey thought they should make something called “Twitter” instead. The investors that were supporting Odeo did not like Twitter. So he bought back all of his stocks.
