Black Ops PaP Weapon List (Tips)

I'm gonna start posting up PaP Weapons that I have tried and give some details about them.


Feel free to add to the list or give some opinions or uses for the guns.  Some of the weapons you would think totally suck, but they can have a very unique use when they are PaPed.



*Basic Changes for all PaP weapons have increased DMG and Ammo

Light Machine Guns

1. HK21 - It carries the most ammo when PaP, 750 rounds.
2. RPK - It has slightly less ammo.  I think only 500 when PaP.

- Both do not change much besides ammo and strength.


Sub Machine Guns

1. MP5K - Basic Changes
2. AK74U - Basic Changes and you get a Reflex Sight.
3. PM63 - You get Duals.
4. MPL - It's been awhile sense I PaPed it, but I think you get a Different Sight similar to a Red Dot Sight.
5. Spectre - Basic Changes with Reflex Sight
6. MP-40 - Same as WaW, Decent Stopping Power


Shotguns

1. Olympia - Incendiary Ammo, 1 Shot kill for a pretty long time, from what I remember into late teens maybe early 20s depending if you headshot.
2. Stakeout - Not much different.  Very similar to Pump Shotgun in WaW and takes around 2 hits to kill in late rounds 20+
3. SPAS-12 - Basic Changes
4. HS10 - You get Duals


Assault Rifles

1. M16 - Grenade Launcher Attachment and it's Full Auto
2. Enfield - (Need Info)
3. M14 - Basic Changes
4. Famas - Basic Changes with Reflex Sight
5. Galil - Basic Changes with Reflex Sight
6. AUG- Shotgun Attachment
7. FN FAl - It changes to bursts instead of a single shot and you get a Reflex Sight
8. Commando - Basic Changes
9. G-11 - Full Auto with Reflex Sight


Sniper Rifles

1. Dragunov - Multi Zoom Scope with Basic Changes.  Good Kill power and has 1 shot kill for a while
2. L96A1 - Multi-Zoom Scope and is still Bolt Action


Pistols

1. M1911 - Dual Pistols that shoot grenades
2. Dual CZ75 - Basic Changes
3. Python - Speed Reload of full clip instead of reloading every bullet, 12 per clip
4. CZ75 - Full Auto with 20 Per Clip, Decent Stopping Power even when it's not PaP


Launchers

1. M72 LAW - Speed Reload, Full Clip of 10.  Better Accuracy and Increased Firing Rate
2. China Lake - Speed Reload, Full Clip of 5, Fires like a pump shotgun


Specials

1. Ballistic Knives - Stock: Retrievable Ammo with Good Stopping Power, PaPed: I've heard the Knives you throw will revive a target.  I think you get 6 when PaP so that is 6 Revives.  I'm not sure if you can still retrieve them back.
2. Crossbow - Arrows Have the same ability as Monkeys.  They attract zombies and explode.  I think 12 is max ammo.
3. Winter's Blast - Basic Changes, It is more of a Stun Gun.  At higher  rounds it is kind of useless
4. Thunder Cannon - Basic Changes




***If you have exact ammo counts post them up and I can update the list.  Also if there is anything I missed let me know.  I've been slowly working my way through the weapons.  Any info on stopping power let me know and I'll post it up.  I think that is important to know how strong the weapon is and for how long.

Opinions and suggestions are welcomed for each weapon.

The ice gun is not a stun gun and if fired in quick succession is effective at killing a large group of zombies instantly :P

The MP5K is a piece of s**t when PaPed. No attachments, barely any damage increase, and barely any ammo increase. Also, I think the reticles are randomized on the weapons because when I get the AK74U I get star-shaped reticles that are always different colors.

EDIT: And PaPing the M1911 gives you dirty sally or something similar. Dual Pistols that shoot grenades. Too many of my teammates have killed themselves with them lol.

I don't care what people say, that ice gun blows, PaPed or not.  I've tested it in late rounds and it didn't do jack.  I know people who have had it mid teens and it barely does nothing.  A special gun like that shouldn't take an entire clip to get some type of reaction.  Plus the effect it has is too slow when trying to stop a large running mob fast.  You'll just get overwhelmed if you are trying to hold a spot.


Any dual weapon sucks imo.  Accuracy blows and they burn through ammo.  The PM63 sucks PaP.  They are powerful but it slurps ammo up way too fast

I was killing groups of zombies (5+) with the paped version on round 26, it just takes two shots, unfortunately the ammo is limited with only 40ish rounds but by round 26, very few guns are still effective anyway.

I PaPed the Galil before, it had a dot sight. That thing was incredibly effective up until round 28 (that's when I died :/)

I PaP'ed the g-11.  You get a dot sight (I don't remember exactly what kind...i.e. smiley face or triangle or whatever...).  It is really good.  It fires in bursts but you can easily aim at the zombies heads and mow down huge groups of them.  The downsides are that you don't get a ton of ammo (I could be wrong though...I don't remember exactly how much you get so I could be mistaken).  Very good up to AT LEAST the early 20's.  We died then so I wasn't able to test it on higher levels.

Not bad links, but I find personal experience from player to be better.  But I guess charts can be helpful to a certain point.



I tried a bunch today.  PaP Colt, China Lake, and LAW are awesome.  If you know how to handle them and not kill yourself that are very destructive.

Galil is awesome.  It's definitely one of my favorites now.

I am kinda disappointed with the Thunder Cannon (Zeus).  Even when it is PaPed it doesn't always kill.  I've followed people using the gun charging through crowds and I've seen zombies stand up and walk after getting hit by it.

Both the Winter's Breath and Thunder Cannon are disappointing for being the new Special Weapons.  Wundarwaffe by far is one of the best and most powerful weapons to date.  It was guarantee death for all zombies in it's path.
