In skirmish mode. play The Mirkwood Pond map. Have yourself and your
opponent on the good side. Have your opponent set to Farmer Maggot
(easy). As soon as you begin, have two workers get food and the other
get rock. Upgrade your stronghold to level 3. Get Frodo Baggins, and
lots of Elven archers.
Build the Elven archer and Ranger upgrade building. Upgrade attack and
defense as high as possible. Then, upgrade the Elven Cloak. You elves
will be invincible. Then, destroy your enemy

find the AIs here and can edit them with notepad (create back-ups first)
but also u can make new AI scripts by opening one and changing it and
save it under another name under the folder "AIPlayers" in the directory.

Helm's Deep Breached:
---------------------
Before fighting Helms Deep Breached, power up with all the optional stages.
With Felllowship characters, choose either Aragon, Legolas, or Gandalf.
With Mordor, choose Lurtz, Saruman, or Worm Tougne. Upgrade each on with
damage inflicting skills for Lurtz and Worm Tongue, then use stall skills
for Saruman (and vice versa). You now have a key advantage for doing great
long distance and close quarters damage to the Elven and Rohan soldiers,
including the heroes. However, the advantage can be short-lived because
they will block and become difficult to hit later.

In the last stage the crack of doom one needs to kill gollum many thinks
that it is ehard but trust me it is the easiest.bring frodo to the edgeand

Minas Tirith Courtyard: Easy completion:
----------------------------------------
Stand off in a corner and keep blocking. No one will hurt you, or be able to.
The Trolls are too far away; just leave them alone. Eventually, the 200 civilians
will get through. It will just take longer.

Minas Tirith: Top of the wall:
------------------------------
After you destroy the fourth tower, go down one set of stairs, then go back up.
Go to the top of the tower. Pick up the objects on top of the tower. They will
give you more experience.

Cirith Ungol: Defeating the Boss:
---------------------------------
Stun him with a spear after you have destroyed his shield. The health bar will
appear again. Then, attack him as long as possible. If the health bar disappears
again, run away until he is going to take a new shield. Destroy the shield, stun,
attack, run and repeat until he is dead.

Black Gate:
-----------
There are two checkpoints in this level, but it is still difficult. First, you
will have to defeat a big, black caped enemy. He is very easy to defeat if you
use fierce attacks. Then, you must defeat six fat Orcs with green health bars
above their heads. As they approach, you will have to fight many Orcs and protect
your friends. Their health bar will be at the top of the screen. When it gets low,
go to them and help them kill the Orcs. When you stand next to your friend, he will
glow and get health. Make sure you stay next to him to get his health up. After
three big Orcs are destroyed, the Orcs will attack ou from three different
directions. Keep helping your friends and killing Orcs. Once you have killed all
six fat Orcs, you will reach a checkpoint. Three Nazgul will appear. Kill them by
shooting your ranged weapon (arrows or axes). Once all three of them are killed,
the level will end.

Shelob's Lair: Easy experience:
-------------------------------
When you get to the part where Sam says "I can't get by this", fight all the Orcs.
Once you have finished, go to the top of the ridge where you push off the rocks.
Push the rock and the Orcs will be there, giving you more experience.

Shelob's Lair: Easy Perfect mode:
---------------------------------
To get perfect mode easily, use speed attacks repeatedly on the little spiders.
This will raise your Perfect meter quickly while in a pack of the spiders.

Invisible character:
--------------------
Complete the game and play as a character who you are not meant to play
that mission (for example, playing as Legolas on Cirith Ungol). In the
intermission sequences, your character will remain where you left him
and not do what the default character would have done. This is most
notable in The Tower of Cirith Ungol level, where in the final intermission
sequence you will see a sword flying around by Frodo's head on its own and
Sam's voice coming out of nowhere; and The Southern Gate level where in the
final intermission sequence you can see Aragorn and Legolas running into
the battle and your character just stays in the gate.

Paths Of The Dead:
------------------
This level may be played as either Aragorn, Legolas, or Gimli. During the
level you will meet multiple dead enemies. You can easily kill them with
fierce attacks, especially the ones without shields. When you reach the blue
fog, your character will move slowly. Be aware of enemies in the blue fog.
The last battle is on a long bridge on which you will have to kill 35
opponents.
After completing the last battle the level will end and you will unlock
The King Of The Dead level.

Black Gate: Defeating the Nazgul:
---------------------------------
When you get near the end of the Black Gate level, you will face three Nazgul
warriors. The best way to defeat them is use the flaming spears. Alternately,
play as Legolas at level 15 and use the Mithril Arrows with the Double Shot.
Get your character's strongest arrows or axes and fire them at the Ringwraiths.
It will require nine arrows or axes.
Use Aragorn's upgrade to light the Nazgul on fire. It kills them quickly. Throw
a flaming spear at one, and they will charge at you. By doing this, you only
have to fight one at a time.

Cirith Ungol: Easy kills:
-------------------------
As Sam, wait for someone to knock over another Orc then run up and quickly kill
him. Eliminate them one by one and eventually get up to the Boss. An easy way to
kill him is to keep throwing pikes at him. Make sure time does not run out while
fighting the Orcs.
When you are fighting the hordes of Uruk-Hai at the bottom of the staircase leading
to the Boss, look for the vats of lava. Use your invisibility move to sneak up on
it. When you think the Uruks are close, press [Action] to spill the vats, killing
all the Uruks. If there are any that remain standing, use the flame-tipped pikes.
This level does not have any checkpoints, but has many Orcs. Take Sam through the
level and destroy eighty Orcs. After killing them, you will have to fight a fat Orc.
Use fierce attacks to kill him, then hit the catapult to kill off the Orcs.
Remember to look for buckets of fire to knock down to kill the Orcs. Also, when
you reach bridges that you must pull down, put them down when Orcs are underneath
to kill them.

Pelennor Fields:
----------------
The battle will start with killing sixty Orcs and warriors. Once that is done,
you will have to defeat an Oliphaunts. Use the catapults at the top of the hill,
and if that does not destroy it, you can finish it off with your ranged weapon.
After it is destroyed, quickly run down the hill to the battle field. Do not
kill any Orcs or warriors, as you will not have time. Get to the other hill and
go to the top of it. Another Oliphaunt will appear. Do the same thing as done
to the other one. Once it is destroyed, go to the end of the hill where the
Nazgul is located. Shoot your ranged weapons at it until it goes away. Another
Oliphaunt will appear, and you must destroy it. Make sure you are on the right
side where the Oliphaunt is. Keep repeating this process until the Nazgul is
destroyed to end the level.

Road To Isengard:
-----------------
As Gandalf, you will encounter many Uruk-Hai. You will easily kill them with
your attacks. When you reach the part where Ents are killing Orcs, you will
join the battle and must wait until 75 Uruk-Hai are dead. After this, your
journey will continue. When you reach to group bunch of towers, destroy all
of them by shooting your ranged weapon at the explosives under the towers.
Once they are destroyed, you will keep going on until the end. At the end
you must help destroy the wall that is blocking the water from coming out
and wiping out all of Isengard. Kill any Orc that approaches by the Ent and
let him break the wall. Once he does this, you will have finished the level.

Southern Gate: Endless enemies:
-------------------------------
Contrary to popular belief there is not an endless supply of enemies in this
level. Although it may seem like the Orcs will not stop appearing, there are
actually about 300 to 400 enemies.

Billy Boyd interview, David Menham, Dom Monaghan interview.

Unlock Faramir Early:
---------------------
On the first mission where you battle at helms deep press Esc the hold down Lft
Shift + Lft Ctrl + Lft Alt and type the following code on the number pad: 4466.
Now after you have completed the mission Faramir should be availible to play on
all other missions.

Walls Of Minas Tirith: Siege towers:
------------------------------------
Destroy the first siege tower with the catapult near the middle of the wall. It
requires two hits to topple. For the second tower that rolls over to the far
right, you can just use your projectiles to take it out. Keep firing at it in
order to bring it down.
When you have destroyed the third siege tower, go to the fourth one and kill all
the Orcs that are in there until you cannot see any more. Then, shoot down the
siege tower with your arrows. Once that is done, go to the men that are guarding
the stairs. Walk down there to complete the level.

Cut The Bull:
-------------
Although the movie may be great, when you really want to start right into the
game, add this line to the game execuatble. Begin by creating a short cut to
the game's executable on the desktop (or the start menu). Then right mouse
click on it and enter the PROPERTIES button. Add +forcemenu main to the end
of the command line so the final result should look something like this:

before he blows the wind;after you destroy him,you must run before the mountain
will come down;when the enemyes appear destroy them as fast as you can because an
avalanche will come if you fight them too much;after 3 groups of enemyes you shall
run out and the mission will end.

Beat The Crack of Doom Really Easily:
-------------------------------------
When you are fighting gollum you usually get your butt kicked (unless you are
really good). I found it really easy to beat him by letting Sam hit him and beat
him up. But when Gollum attacks you block him. (Watch out for his jump kicks!!!)
Usually sometimes Sam makes Gollum go wobbly armed so push him and make him fall
on the edge. Then stab him with the killing move. He will fall off and climb back
up again. Do that repeatedly until you win.

Escape From Osgiliath:
----------------------
When you reach the end of the level, you will be in a sewer. A few small Orcs will
be there, and you can easily kill them. You will then encounter a fat Orc with a
health bar above his head. Use the following tactics to avoid killing him. You
can put on your invisibility cloak and pull down the gate; you can take the health
and pull down the gate; or, if playing co-op, have one player repeatedly press
[Parry] while the other lowers the gate. After lowering the gate, walk out to
complete the level.

Tower of Cirith Ungol: Ghost character:
---------------------------------------
Complete the game and play as someone other than Sam on the Tower of Cirith Ungol
level. Once you defeat the Boss Orc at the end of the level, stand in the middle
of the room that you face him in, on the patch of floor that is boarded up. In
the following intermission sequence you will see your character flying over a
hole in the floor and an Uruk passing through him.

Play as Aragorn as the king in every level:

Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the
file before proceeding. Enter the "player" directory in the game folder. Rename
the "char_ara.scw" file into something like "char_araa.scw". Then, rename the
"char_arc.scw to "char_ara.scw". Finally, rename the "char_araa.scw" file to
"char_arc.scw". The game's textures now have swapped names. Select Aragorn as
the character that you wish to play. Aragorn has now been crowned before he
ever did anything. Note: Now that the textures have changed, some things might
go wrong. For example, Aragorn is unable to climb ladders; he still can do Orc
Bane but will not perform the move where he will stands still until the enemy
is dead; etc

Play as Frodo or Sam from the Crack Of Doom in every level:

start building some tunnels then a fissure;upgrade the fissure to level 3 and train
about 7-8 giants;attack rivendell when you arrive near the gate kill all mirkwood
archers and destroy all the enemy towers near the gate,then destroy the gate;make
again more giants and when you have about 10 giants get inside rivendell and destroy
quickly the enemy fortresses then you win the campaign;


THE BLACK GATE:

start killing the archers on the gate then defeat the remaining orcs;remain near the gate
will all of your forces,except pippin;get pippin into the middle camp then capture it and
build your camp;make sure you have all gondor military building(also build as many
blacksmith you can on the middle camp)and rohan stable,archery range and armory;when you
have command points build gondor archers until you have the archery range on level 2 after
that research fire arrows and train rangers(build sentry towers on all camps because some
wargs will attack them from the flanks)when mumakils arrive keeep at the gate only the
archers and the hero archers,after you defeat the mumakils the rohan army will arrive;when
a countdown appears,that says frodo arrives at mount doom retreat to all of yours camps and
stay there more enemyes will appearbut they will gather at the gate and not attack you,so
you'll only have to wait until the countdown expires and you'll win the campaign;

dagger for pipeweed), on the ledge above the stumps that summon the elves
is a house. Enter it and walk up to the bookcase. Press [Action] and a
gold coin will appear. Leave the house and re-enter. Another gold coin
will be there. Repeat this to get as many coins as needed.

type in 'frodorocks' at the pause menu and you shall get all weapons of frodo.

Hint:
-----
In the level Troll Shaws, there is a way to kill trolls easily.
When you encounter a troll, go into first person mode and walk
backwards. Go off the road to your left until you can't go any
farther. You will be in between two rocks. The troll cannot attack
you, but will just walk up to you and spazz out. All you have to
do then is keep shooting arrows into it until it is dead.
This works for other enemies in this level, too.


Bywater: Better Walking stick or ointment:
------------------------------------------
In the house where you fight bees, outside a hobbit (Fatty) wants you to get
him an egg and honeycomb. Get the Egg. Once you get the medal pin, throw rocks
at beehives to get the honeycomb. Then give them to Fatty and he will give you
a better walking stick or ointment.


Hobbiton: Easy money:
---------------------
On the East Road just out of Hobbiton (past the woodsman who trades his dagger

Hobbiton: Wolves:
-----------------
When the wolves appear just after leaving Hobbiton, run between the rock and the
tree directly on your left. This is a patch of brambles that the wolves will not
enter. You can safely attack the wolves from this point by positioning yourself
close to the rock facing up on the screen. If done correctly, the rock will
prevent you from stepping forward while you attack. You may have to run out and
back in briefly to lure a wolf over to where you want it, but this is easy enough.


Hobbiton: Escaping from the Riders:
-----------------------------------
When you are playing as Frodo, you have to go to Maggot's farm to meet the three
hobbits after giving the key from Lobelia to Mr. Gamgee. Stand at the door where
you began, and face the door at the screen. When a Rider passes, sneak to the
rock next to you. When the Rider passes again, go to your house. You have to cross
the garden. If they hear you, go to the door at your house. Remember, there is more
than one Rider. If they see you, you must surrender the ring and start over. Do not
use the ring when the Riders are near, or they will find you. When you do not see a
ny Riders, run to the fence near the tree house and jump over it. When you are at
Sandyman's mill, you will see another Rider on the bridge to Bywater. Throw a rock
over the river. If you do, he will move. Cross the bridge and go to a flat plain.
Keep throwing rocks to the places he can move. If done correctly, you can make it
to the Shire. You will see Robbin being attacked by a wolf. His life is not dependent
and you will not fail your task if he dies, but it would be kind.
As you leave Hobbiton, the wolves will appear. To prevent from being seen, use the
ring until you cannot see any wolves. When you made your escape, you will see another
Dark Rider. Like the task before, you can throw rocks so that the Rider can move any
direction. If you do not want to be seen, there is a tree trunk where you can hide.
Be careful; as you throw rocks from the trunk, the shadow still remains.
When he makes his farthest point, you can sneak out of the tree trunk and make your
way to Maggot's farm.


Amon Hen: Defeating the Ring Wraith:
------------------------------------
When you fight the Ring Wraith on the Balrog, there is a tower with steps that you
can walk up. If you stay up there, the Balrog cannot hurt you, except when it takes
flight. When you fight the Ring Wraith on the Balrog, there is a tower with steps
that you can walk up. Climb up it, then use Aragorn's special stab.
If timed correctly you will kill the dragon. When playing as Aragorn, you must rescue
Sam from the Ring Wraith. To begin the fight, go up to the Nazgul. He will start
blowing green gas at you. Start hitting him with your sword. After that, he will
fly away. At this point, go up to a tower with steps. The tower will protect you
when the Nazgul blows the green gas at you. Start shooting the Nazgul to kill it.


Amon Hen: Finding Gollum:
-------------------------
Go southwards until you run into a coastline. There is a trail that you can follow.
It will lead you to a place. You will see a cave that is very high up, and will see
Gollum. Go up to the cave and Gollum will make noises and walk away. Note: Gollum
appears in Amon Hen two times. Go north, and there is another trail. It will lead
you to Gollum again. As before, walk up to the cave, and this time Gollum talks.
He will mumble his name out


Moria:
------
To pass the 21st hall in Moria, go to the center of the room and push or pull the
four blocks of stone with hands on top of the tiles that you can step on. Once you
put all four on, you will pass that part of Moria.


Moria: Killing the fire monster:
--------------------------------
When you are Gandalf, you have to save your party from the fire monster when you
get past Moria. When you begin the fight, you should equip the spell Staff Strike
to Gandalf. When you are going to him, he will shoot fireballs at you. To get to
him, dodge the fireballs. If you get too close, he will blow fire at you. If you
get as close as you can, he will try hitting you with his unblockable fire sword.
Also, it is impossible for you to fall down the abyss. Get close until he keeps
shooting fireballs at you and use Staff Strike. After you use the spell, he will

will not hit. You can safely hit him when his hand is down. Do this if needed,
Tom Bombadil will appear and say his chant, and you will defeated the willow tree.


Moria: Second hall:
-------------------
When you are playing as Frodo, you must find a way out of the second hall of Moria.
The first part is easy. Go to a thin chasm and jump over it. Do the same thing with
the other chasm and you will see a stone bridge. Once you have crossed over the stone
bridge, kill the Orc that's shooting down to Gimli. You will see a rock. Press Action
to push the rock on the ground. You will now have to activate bridge switches for
Gimli and yourself to cross over. Remember that Gimli will not always be there when
you need him. To get to the other bridge, climb up the ladder. You will see some Orcs.
You may have to use your ring to avoid them. Climb down another ladder and activate
the bridge switch. Then, go back to where you started, but push the rock to the button
to open the door to leave the second hall of Moria. Note: Make sure you activate all
the bridge switches before you activate the button to the door.
If you do not, you will be trapped by Orcs and cannot escape.


Moria: Finding Gollum:
----------------------
When you find camp on the second day, Legolas will say that something is following.
The screen will go slowly to a dark figure. That dark figure is Gollum, and you will
hear him talking about his "Precious".


Rivendell: Sleep spell:
-----------------------
When playing as Frodo in Rivendell, get to the room where you get sting. You will see
two chests. One will have an Elvish tome. Give it to Gandalf and he will say something.
Then, talk to Elrond. When playing Gandalf after fighting the Wargs, use the tome.
You will get a new spell Sleep. This will put enemies to sleep for a short period of
time.
Note: Make sure you give Gandalf the tome when playing as Frodo or he will not have
it when you are playing as him.


Defeating the Barrow-Wight:
---------------------------
Run up to the top right corner and there will be a chest. Jump onto the ledge it is on
to get the dagger. Then, put the ring on and hit the Barrow-Wight.
It will go underground. Take off the ring, and when it returns, put the ring on and
hit the Barrow-Wight. Frodo will sing Tom Bombadil's song and you will defeat the Boss.


Unlimited Dwarven and Elven Shots:
----------------------------------
When you are at the Prancing Pony Inn and have just defeated the two ruffians who stole
your dagger, go through the open window and climb up the ladder. Once up, you should
notice that the ring is spinning in its slot. Turn to the right and use the ring. You
should see a platform with both an elven and dwarven shot. Collect them and jump back
to the ladder platform. Then, take off the ring and put it back on. You will notice
that the items appear again. Do this as many times as needed to get unlimited elven
and dwarven shots.


Westernesse Dagger:

When you get to the point where you are looking for Merry, Pippin, and Sam in the cave,
you will see a box. Go to it and you will get the dagger.


Wake up Lobelia:
----------------
When you have to escape from the Dark Riders in Bywater, throw a rock at the bell
five times. You will see her lights turn on.


Finding the missing metal pin:
------------------------------
To find the missing metal pin, throw a rock at the weather vane (the rooster statue
on top of some houses). If done correctly, you should get the pin and fix the mill.
When completed, your purity meter will rise allowing you more ring uses.


Double arrow attack:
--------------------
When playing as Aragorn when in first person mode, to launch a double arrow attack
fire once at the target then quickly press [Home] again and press the Right Mouse
Button.


No effect from rocks:
---------------------
In Hobbiton, when a person walks by you or you walk by them, throw a rock at their
head. They will keep walking, as if nothing happened.


Float in the air:
-----------------
In Bywater, when you finish with the ringing of the warning bell, jump on the bench.
Ring it again and you should float in the air near the warning bell.


Abusing Sam:
------------
When fighting the Willow Tree, move towards Sam and go in between the roots.
Hit him and he will temporarily bounce up, bleed, then fall over.
This only works once.

Ring Heroes:
------------
Every map in skirmish or multi-player mode has Gollum cloaked on it. When you find
Gollum, kill him and you will get the ring. Take it back to your fortress and have
the troop that is carrying the ring enter the fortress in order to recruit a Ring
Hero for 9,000 resources. Your Ring Hero uses no command points. Men, Elves and
Dwarves can recruit Galadriel. Mordor, Isengard, and Goblins can recruit Sauron.
The easiest way to get the ring is to let an enemy find Gollum then kill them after
they obtain the ring. The only way to stop them before they reach their base is to
chase them down with a mounted unit, have a created hero teleport into their path,
or to summon allies into their path using a power.


Defeating large groups of enemies:
----------------------------------
Have a lot of defensive structures in your base and teleport the opponents to your
base. The towers should kill the enemies before they can do much damage. The Convert
spell will also work, because they are free men.


Defeating Giant Trolls with ease:
---------------------------------

It is always a good tactic to create a custom hero with a lot of power (Say about at
least a level of 15).Not only will you be able to defeat those giant trolls or summoned
balrog's with ease,You will also be able to defeat other hero's in no time.
I find this a great way in defeating my opponents.


Grey Havens:
------------
Start at the bottom-most part. Build as many resource collectors as possible. Then,
capture the Shipright. Get Builders to build Wall Hubs where the Cave Trolls lair
is found (kill it first). Build a wall. Then, build units and an upgrade structure.
Get your units upgraded as much as possible. Put some by the wall to defend it. Send
the rest to the Shipright. Build the number of transports needed. Put the units by
the Shipright onto the transports. Send the transports to the enemy camp. Optionally,
split your units up and surround the camp. Destroy all the structures except for the
fortress. Finally, destroy the fortress.


General strategies:
-------------------
Do not just rush your opponent's territory. Either send in a camo capable unit or
a very cheap, weak unit such as Orc Warriers. Scope out your opponent's base before
attacking with stronger units When attacking, use melee soldiers so attack buildings
and use Bowmen and Cavalry on enemy units.


The Shire:
----------
The third level of the Evil campaign is a mission where you must capture the Shire.
This mission is very easy up to a point. Play the mission until you must build a base
in the Eastfarthing. Build a base with two of each building (including Fortresses).
Also, build at least ten Sentry Towers. Upgrade your Fortress to the maximum and build
all your Fortress expansions as Mountain Giants. Stay in your base and repel all
Dunedain attacks until you have killed all them all. You will be notified when all
Dunedain have perished. When you reach the part where you must destroy the three
remaining Seats of Power, only send one Goblin horde to destroy them, as there is
literally no resistance with the Dunedain defeated. Do not destroy the Seat of Power
in the bottom-left corner of the mini-map. At this point, build a large army with at
least 750 command points available. Buy all available upgrades for your Goblins.
Send all your units to the large, grassy field at the bottom-left corner of the
mini-map, just south of the last remaining Seat of Power. Destroy the last remaining
Seat of Power with as little units as possible, then retreat a short distance to the
north. You must do this because a volley of arrows will kill many goblins if you
remain in that grassy field. After a few seconds, quickly return to the grassy field
and a large army from Isengard will emerge, led by Grima Wormtoungue. Fight this army
until only two Goblin hordes remain in your forces. Send these troops to your base,
and build as many Goblin hordes as quickly as possible. In a very short time the army
will attack your base. Do not try to defend any other buildings besides one Goblin
cave and your Fortress. Uruk-Hai will lay waste to your forces in a short time, but
your fully upgraded fortress should hold them back while you construct more Goblin
hordes. After awhile of relentless Uruk-Hai attacks, the flow of enemies should stop.
At this time, re-build your base and construct a large army. Lead this army into the
Isengard base and kill Grima. This part of the level is very difficult, as the
Ballista will quickly destroy your units. Destroying the Ballista first is recommended.


Postern Gates:
--------------
When building a wall around your base in Skirmish mode, never put in gates. Always put
in Postern Gates. A Postern Gate is a small door in a wall that allows allies to pass
through, but not enemies. It is invisible to the enemy, making passing through a wall
virtually undetectable, and allies can pass through a Postern Gates as fast as they
would pass through a regular gate.


Glitch: Hero power transfer:
----------------------------
Use the following trick to give a hero any power(s) desired, but it requires some time
and a lot of patience. First, make a hero with no powers then a second hero with the
power desired (for example, an elf hero with Healing). Then, stack them together on the
playfield. Click on the hero with the single power. Go to the "Powers" menu. When you
click "Customize", immediately press the quick switch key to your hero with no powers.
When you enter the powers menu, the "hero" using the powers from the power menu will be
the hero with no powers. Next, click on the blank unit portrait (the picture of power
will not be there) where the desired power is located and re-select it. You can now
make other heroes with the desired powers you want and put them on your new glitched
hero.
Note: You cannot "pull" multiple powers from the valid hero unit; you will still need
to add them one by one to the glitched unit.


Glitch: Invincible Troll:
-------------------------
Kill a Troll while it is still coming out of the Troll Cage. It will be invincible.
It will freeze where it is, and you will still be able to shoot at it. You can still
gain power points from shooting it. Eventually, it will unfreeze and attack any enemies.


Glitch: Unlimited health for elves:
-----------------------------------
Create an elf hero with self-heal. You can get no recharge time on it. When you want to
click on it, do so but immediately move to another location. It will not recharge. You
can do this as many times as desired.


Glitch: Dol Guldur: Reveal entire map permanently:
--------------------------------------------------
First, you must have played the map in Skirmish mode to get the feel of it. Play it at
least three times and memorize the locations. When you start the level in the Good
campaign, you must have the Tom Bombadil power and Elrond's Farsight power. Use Elrond's
power and eyeball the Dark Shroud to find the middle section of Dol Guldur (the part
with the fortress in it). Note: You can see the texture of the terrain as you move the
the Farsight power's pointer. Once you have successfully revealed the fortress area,
summon Tom Bombadil just in front of the fortress. Once he is in, the shroud should
disappear permanently with no fog of war. You can see exactly what the enemy is doing
at the moment. You can use Bombard, Flood, Earthquake, or Sunlight, to attack enemy
units and buildings, and when they are weakened, launch the assault with your army.


Easy experience:
----------------
Use the following trick to level your race up in Skirmish mode quickly. Create a hero
that can learn the Recruit Battlions power. Set up a game against an easy AI with a
handicap of -95%. As soon as the game starts, create your hero and rush into the
enemy's. Use the power to summon a battalion and the skirmish will be over in two
minutes.


Easy win against brutal army:
-----------------------------
On skirmis misions, select to fight a brutal army and then put a handicap os -95%.
This will make them take longer to destroy structures and make them weaker.
(This will also affect enemy structures)


Glitch Heros:

OK..To make a glitch hero simply choose the one you want to glitch- i.e. my troll is
a wizard so i did this- select the wizard and make sure his name is close to the others
name-magnar the wizard to naxus the troll-and on the wizard that starts with m's spell
selection press n or whatever letter urs is at the same time you click edit on the spell
selection and if it doesnt work try it again i have 9 glitch heros.


Final Good Campaign(Dol Gundor):

If you are having difficulties in playing the last good campaign or in defeating the balrog
in the final good campaign then i have a trick.First,when you start the last campaign you
have Elrond and some Elves and one battalion of Dwarves(Axe thrower)First Build a base there
as you have some builders and then go in an attack move order at the noth signal fire.After
capturing return to the base immidiately and wait for the Erebor reinforcements to come.
Then issue all of them an attak move order to the soth signal fire or if you have the
earthquake power,summon it on the camp.the whole camp will be destroyed and you can easily
capture the signal fire.Then you have Mirkwood reinforcements.Now the objective(BREACH THE
INNER WALL OF DOL GONDUR)cames on the screen but first you will need to defeat all the
catapults and arrow towers.For that send your Hero(Thrainduil)to attack the catapults and
towers.Then if you have the sommon tom bombadil power,summon it inside the Dol Gundor and
the objective comes you have breached the inner walls of Dol gundor.Now do not charge your
army because as your army moves towards enemy fortress The balrog comes to attack you.
So summon the earthquke or Bombard power again on their fortress.So now the Balrog comes out.
Summon various powers for reinforcements and attack the Balrog but be careful he is much
stronger. After you defeat the Balrog Charge your army and win the campaign.

You've heard it all before about how Goblins both have strong and weak points. Well tell
you the truth the Goblins have a risk of being the strongest faction on the game if used
right. Players think that goblins are meant to rush until you get money to buy stronger
units like spider riders and half-troll marauders. Well truth is you need to try and balance
the army. People all the time tend to say to stop making goblins when you get money for the
stronger units. Not true!!! If you do that then the army loses it's balance. Goblins are the
backbone of the army. Many people don't use them right and get decimated. You use the goblins
to destroy the enemy units, not the buildings. They're equiped with the poison blade which is
very useful against people who are stronger like the Dwarves. While goblins hold off the enemy
units you can have their city nearly destroyed. Try it and you'll find that it works like a
charm.


Heal Glitch:

While using an elven archer with the self heal ability, click self heal and then quickly tell
your hero to move or attack something and it will heal, but the ability will instantly recharge.

It is a good idea to look below that string for more values to adjust, such as:

bonuses for every territory captures in living world

first) and 1 archery range, don't build a barracks, build 4 battalions of gondor
archers and don't upgrade them. By the time they have all been made u should
send them out 1 by 1 until they are all killed. Build 8 battalions of rangers
and give them fire arrows, then put 2 battallions ofthem on each side of the
gate (on the wall) and wait forthem all to go up to level 3 and change them
around with the others until they are all on level 3 and send them all out

Easy Win With Rohan:
--------------------
If you are Rohan in a skirmish or online, build 2 or 3 farms in your castle. Then go out and
find so other sites that you can build farms and do so. Then, build 3 wells. This will
reduce the cost of you infintry drastically. Then build an archery range. Build 4 battalions
of Yeoman Archers to get your building to level 2. Use then for recon or just to gaurd your
base. Next build as many elven archers as possible. They are only 490 with the 3 wells
instead of 700! After, get the fire arrow upgrade and upgade your elves first. You archer
army will be unstoppable against Nazgul, infintry, trolls, ents, horseman, all uruk-hai,
siege weapons, everything!


Protecting Your Base:
---------------------
When your Rohan or Gondor first you should build a couple of farms and then build a archery
range. Build about 3 battalions of archers. Line them against the wall , also you should
get trebuchets when Gondor. Then taunt them by opening your gate then they come at you and
your archers will shoot then as soon as you can close the gate do that. Then when they stop
sending soldiers you have enough powers in the power menu to get the Elven or Rohirimm
allies (except when Rohan) believe me saves alot of your soldiers.


Unlimited Command Points:
-------------------------
Max out your command points with an army then send them out to the edge of the map, it will
ask you if you want them to leave, answer yes. Then build another army then click on the
reinforcements flag then you got a double army.


Get Trolls in Fangron:
----------------------
On the way to the elven camp, if you have a sharp eye you we see a cave with smoke coming
out of it. Go up to it with at least one troop and three cave trolls will come out. These
trolls are stronger than usual, but focus your trolls on the elves and your uruk
crossbowmen on the ents.


Create powerful Troll:
----------------------
To make a Troll more powerful, have it pick up a tree as a club. It is slower, but much more
powerful. To make an Ent more powerful, have it to pull boulders out of buildings or rock
piles to throw at enemies. This is a very powerful long-range attack.


Leveling Hobbits:
-----------------
When fighting as Gondor, Purchase merry and 2 to 4 battalions of gondor soldiers. Click merry
and chose throw rocks mode. then send merry out along with the gondor soldiers as a strike
force. this works better and faster than you think. by the time merry gets to level 8 or so,
he will be able to 1-hit ko any basic infantry unit.


Good army spying in skirmish mode:
----------------------------------
The Evil factions of the game both have a Spying power they can use. However, Good factions
have no spying power. Early in Skirmish mode, recruit the Hobbit available to you. Have him
run over to an enemy castle, camp, etc. He should be able to make it to the citadel, unless
the enemy is playing a Good faction and has closed the castle gate. Once inside (or outside
the gate if it has been closed), activate his Elven Cloak. He will remain there, untouchable
by the enemy. By doing this, you will have a permanent spy. Note: If he moves, he will be
exposed until he can use his cloak again. When selecting all your units by pressing Q, hold
[Shift] and deselect your spy before ordering everybody to move or attack.


Defeating Ents:
---------------
Train a horde of Archers and give them the Fire Arrows upgrade. Send them and shoot the Ent
until he is on fire, then run away. He will die in a short time.


Defeating Isengard:
-------------------
When you are fighting Isengard, either use Summon Rohan Allies or start out as Rohan. Build
a stable and a lot of farms. Close the main gate and build a Postern Gate instead. Build
an army of Riders Of Rohan and walk over the Uruk-Hai's. To counter battering rams, use
Yeoman or Elven Archers. To counter Warg Riders and Siege Ladders, use Heroes or Sentry
Towers. Note: With the riders, just ride over the Uruks. It will either kill or stun
them for you to finish. With the riders, try summoning Eomer to the field and give them
a bonus or two.


Defeating Rohirrim:
-------------------
When Isengard, Pikeman can easily defeat Cavalry if their numbers are similar. However, by
combining a Pikeman horde with a Crossbow horde you can have one of the most powerful
anti-Cavalry groups there are. As Mordor, there really is no cheap way to deal with Cavalry.
Trolls and Mumaks are your best bet, considering they have heavy damage with little harm
done to them. Try getting creative and putting Orc Archers with fire arrows inside the
Mumakil. This can make for a devastating blow to even a castle, and not just enemy
soldiers.


Defeating Trolls:
-----------------
Make a horde/battalion of archers and give them the Fire upgrade. Shoot the troll until
it catches on fire (like Ents), then run away. The troll will die very quickly.


Mordor: Strategy:
-----------------
When playing as Mordor, if you want an army that can handle almost anything build at least
three Mumakil. If you have enough resources, put a horde of Haradrim Lancers on top. They
are cheaper than Orc Archers. Have them guard in front of your citadel while you build more
soldiers from the Haradrim Palace. The Mumakil should quickly level up while you get the
Banner Carrier upgrade. Then, take the Haradrim Lancers off the Mumakil, upgrade them, then
put them back on. By this time you should have a large force of lancers and soldiers of Rhun
to attack the enemy. This force can usually take down any army. It is especially effective
against cavalry. If you are up against one of the good armies use the Mumakil to take down
the walls as your mounted lancers work on the enemies inside the walls. When the Mumakil
dies will you lose the mounted battalion as well. You should dismount them just before
this happens.


Hints:
------
When first starting, instead of going out immediately and getting as many farms or whatever
else you need, if playing as Gondor or Rohan shut your gate. If you are Isengard or Mordor,
build some Archer Towers. Defend and save a lot of resources. Get a very good hero then go
out and get all the farms. While getting all the farms, send archers to each of them for
protection. If you get an outpost, put the archers in the citadel. While you are getting
all the farms, your CP should be increasing, allowing you to get more soldiers. Knights are
recommended, or if you are Isengard, Wargs. Then, go out and gather around your opponent's
camp or castle, but not too close if they have defensive structures. Use a catapult, ram,
or fire arrows to destroy the gate, then charge and take out everything. Concentrate on the
citadel so that they cannot make anything.


Hints:
------
You should have a large number of resource making structures, a high level blacksmith
and a level 2 archery range. To defeat any army in almost any situation, build your
army inside your castle with the gate shut until your command points have been reached.
You should have a lot of infantry and cavalry, but you do not need too many archers.
Combine your archers with your infantry. Buy all available upgrade for your entire army.
Open your gates and take your entire army outside. Once they are all outside, close your
gates. If you are worried about your city getting destroyed build guard towers and leave
a few infantry units with no upgrades behind. Have your army take out all enemy camps.
Always have your entire army attacking one target. Do not split up. You should decimate
all enemy forces with few to no casualties.

Press ~ during game play to display the console window. Type DebugMode 1 (case-sensitive)
to enable cheat mode. Use the following commands to affect your party members' influence.
You must know their designation, thus the x and y. The following are the designations to
ensure that they are 100% loyal to you. You should first select your character. In place
of x and y, place the following numbers and your influence towards them will be 100.
Note: Influence is plot critical towards Chapter 3.

different room if there is no yellow areas in the current room. Once you have reached a
yellow area and your character is standing in it, press ~ again and type dm_givelevel
then press enter and click on your character.
You should now be able to raise the level of your character until you reach 40.


Infinite XP Bug:
----------------
In chapter two, after you go through the "trial" and defeat Lorne, you can return to West
Harbor to complete the quest "What Happened to Lorne" (you have to have gotten the quest in
Chapter One before leaving West Harbor). Talk to Lorne's mother to complete the quest, and
you'll get 500 XP. She'll say she needs to be left alone. Now talk to her again. She'll
give the intro to the "quest completed" dialog, and give you 500 XP again.
Rinse and repeat. (Fixed in 1.03)


Level 40:
---------
While playing press ~, then enter DebugMode 1. Press enter. There should be yellow spots
on the area around you that appear, make sure you are in a yellow area.
Then type dm_givelevel. Click on your character and press enter.
Pull up your character sheet and you should be able to level up.
